I am aware of decisions made today that will take us to $48.60000, ceteris paribus.

Agreed. I got in early. Not quite $1 early, but after the first rise and fall. Now granted, I figure I'm doing alright with mining but yeah, if I had the capital back then to buy up a bunch of coins at $2, or $5, etc., I'd be more than happy. But then again that's the risk we all take to an extent and I could imagine it being quite painful to have fully sold all coins at a (then) high price. But who's to say the same isn't true today? I'm happy the price is this high but if you're confident it's going to go far far above this, it's always time to buy.
It's a chicken-and-egg problem, if the early adopters had mined a hell load of coins and hoarded and refused to sell, the economy around bitcoin would not have developed, the price would have been nowhere near what it is now, to get people to join, they must redistributed the coins by selling them, (they may have done it involuntarily, we are all pawns of the invisible hand after all) eventually the free market will make things fair, that's why the unfair advantage of early adopters theory is a myth. but but but...what if an early adopter had 50,000 coins and got arrested and was in jail for 3 years getting out now...i guess he'd just be rich then?

Remember those tens of thousands of Bitcoins sold last Wednesday? Where do you think all that fiat is sitting right now, back in the account holders' bank accounts?

I'll be fine I still believe their a good chance that within a few years i will have an opportunity to buy cheap bitcoins ( below 20$ ) and if it goes up to 100's of dollars, that's cool too

This much upward pressure during the weekend. I'm sorry Adam. Yea, it makes me excited/fearful of the rocket that will launch on Monday! More likely Tuesday, I think. Wednesday edit: I really should note that the recent correction and the looming ask walls should not look scary to anyone at all. Here are some reasons (1) Asks below $50 are down from 60k to 37k now, in one day. (2) Though before the correction, bids were thin and the rally was unsustainable, we now have >25k coins above $40. (3) We've recovered most of the ground that was covered in the crash. We're almost at $47 right now. (4) Bids are at an ALL TIME HIGH, $5.4 million. (5) No daily red candles at all from the crash. (6) This is all what happened over the weekend... imagine what it's going to be like when new money comes in.

Yeah,I'm thinking the same. The push over the weekend seems to be more of a micro rally but still quite noticeable.I'm thinking possibly ~$56 by the end of next week.
