It's nuts, I'm moving 50% of my USD over to LTC.

I did pretty well by spending some BTC on LTC a few weeks ago, it's tripled in value since then !

Actually BTC is exploding, and LTC is riding the coat tails. That said, why not? Crypto is crypto.

then why isn't TRC and PPC?

LTC has its own rights to succeed.

The initial spark is riding BTC bandwagon but the continued excitement is its different and people can gpu mine it and send it faster

Hooray! LTC is going to devalue everything! I'm so excited about this development.

Here it comes, the big rally.  The longest green candle yet.  We are going to see an explosion this week that will put us at $55 at least.

Did somebody say cheap coins!? Or are we going to explode on Monday? Please don't, I would like to pick up a few more sub $40 coins before the year is out.

I think the market was being manipulated to see a red candle, look, as soon as the day closed at bitcoin.clarkmoody.com the price went over 46$ again.

now THIS is speculating

LTC looks great, but I probably would not get into a market that even I can manipulate. Smiley

LTC is a troll I normally avoid to feed. Now I'm surprised to read only LTC lovers' posts. What's going on? LTC doesn't add anything essential to BTC and the faster block intervall doesn't add security neither. The "only GPU" promise means it will have to change the algo every month or faster to an un-announced new and very different algorithm once ASIC miners try to profit on their investment out of LTC mining in very short terms.

This forever +1

But by god, the LTC trolls do keep on trying.  Also, I'm pretty sure that when LTC started it was "cpu only!", so I'm not so sure why they think saying "gpu only!" now means anything. Oh well.

then why isn't TRC and PPC?

Actually TRC profitability for mining jumped to 488% compared to bitcoin. Briefly, but still. There is so much money entering the bitcoin ecosystem that alt-coins are doing quite well. And TRC is great for prototyping for Bitcoin. I've been building this service: www.terrawallet.com as an online wallet for TRC, once the kinks are all worked out, it's trivial to fire it up for BTC. A lot of people, especially those developing for BTC will find that feature about TRC useful.

LTC is to BTC as Silver is to Gold.

When Gold goes up, Silver goes up faster  Wink
