Over 6 mil now. Looks like bids are rising exponentially. Pretty amazing. I wonder how much of the "new" bids are people who tried to play in on the mini-crash and are now just hoping to buy back in at the price they sold. Remember people, always hold your coinage! Bids are at the highest I've ever seen them at 6.2 million. At the same time there is a lot of available BTC below 50 -- very low slippage for the first time in months. I wonder if we'll see a whale snap up these coins... 2013-03-13 09:50:28.617562: 3248 bids of 37725920 btc (6270525.00) above 0. 525 bids of 37404 btc (1554725.00) above 40. 358 asks of 44513 btc (2160203.00) below 50. 743 asks of 64823 btc (3256849.00) below 60.

Whatever I had at Gox to sell during the bug crisis, I just bought back with. I kept the fiat for a while as insurance in case we go down, but it looks like we're back on track towards $50. Could be wrong about this but I just see everything as so bullish, the market reacted astoundingly maturely to the whole bug thing. Up we go, I think.

I agree. I didn't that Bitcoin was so mature at this point that it would shrug off the whole incident so easily. When things are so bullish that even I'M amazed, you know we're on the path to success. Or little baby is growing up so nicely

Or little baby is growing up so nicely EVERYONE who was around for the 2011 crash had a sinking feeling in the pit of their stomach a few nights ago. But nothing cures you of that feeling faster than watching the entire Bitcoin environment dealing with this as quickly and efficiently as we did, and the market treating it as a speedbump.

EVERYONE who was around for the 2011 crash had a sinking feeling in the pit of their stomach a few nights ago. Only because I didn't have any dollars sitting in my account at Mt Gox.

Was that /sarc? If not, would you mind clarifying for us laymen? Sure man. By liquidity I mean the amount of dollars available on the exchange. If you look at the graph below, you can see the amount of dollars and Bitcoin that are on the orderbook. As you can see from the blue line, we are over 6.3 million dollars. This is an all time high. We first approached $50 per Bitcoin at 4.5 million dollars in liquidity. Basically, I'm a bull.

Solid, really? Are you looking at the whole picture, or are you blinded by the charts?
"There is a potential for catastrophic consensus failure—a so-called 'hard fork'," "We have to get as many people upgraded to 0.8 as possible, as fast as possible, and then go through a deliberate hard fork much earlier than we had planned." "This sort of thing illustrates the dangers of Bitcoin and is perhaps one reason the developers tend to be more conservative about it than others" "I think what will happen now is going to be a good test of the community," ... http://spectrum.ieee.org/tech-talk/computing/networks/bitcoin-

It was a test of the community, and the community succeeded and pulled through.
