Could it be that certain players don't want the price to break 50 just yet? The same thing seemed to be going on when the price almost hit the 32 all-time high.

My theory is that MtGox/CoinLab want to postpone a breakthrough so it can coincide with the launch of their operation in North America. That would look pretty good from a PR perspective.

On the other hand, it might be just a coincidence and I should leave my tinfoil hat at home.

as long as there are enough sellers below the walls, that's fine and for most participants a win.

50$ is a psychological barrier. Once we get through, next stop is 60$. But 50$ is a pretty strong number  Wink

Hmmm... and then there's that silly million dollar wall. I mean, if I had a million dollars and wanted to monetize them with BTC, would I put a wall at 30, or would I start buying and creating upwards pressure, perhaps in chunks of $100k? It's all very mysterious... stay tuned  Cheesy

True, the price will go up eventually and it leaves us mortals the chance to acquire some cheap coins before Bitcoin rules the world. The SEC isn't around to prevent insider trading and I think this is definitely a good thing.

Yeah I really wonder what that person is thinking. Hoping there will be another glitch perhaps?

This is healthier than huge bid side with little or no asks. It seem people are comfortable selling at these price levels.

Well I don't know, personally, I can't wait to cash in some coins for 10k a piece. I'm getting tired of not being very rich.

Market price is in the high $47s? Better dump so I can sell mine for a buck cheaper!

Scare-wall works every time... It'll disappear or get eaten. Maybe some appointment between big buyer and seller to meet at Mt.Gox  Grin
