Interesting pattern I've noticed. It's been sort of bouncing downwards for the last 4 days. Is there a technical term for this sort of thing?

how about a re-test of the old ath?
re-tests are common occurrence i stocks and comodities

all the frenzy didnt really allow for that and as we can see now it would better have happened much earlier
especially having in mind that "re-test of old ath" and "gap-close" are seen as "obligatory" by many chartists and investors and they bet their money on it often enough ...

lets see what happens but I think that 31,xx is where real lots off new money could be interested of stepping in/"putting a toe into the water" ...

I will "be waiting there" ...

(and if I would be short 31,90 would be my main target)

Any inside info where the heck is this going? Smiley)

Possibly a slight turnaround. I bought at 65. Bands indicate high volatility.

I been wanting to buy on bitstamp for almost a week.

but the deposit i made like 5 days ago, still hasn't cleared.

im starting to get very mad, if the price raises before i buy.

bitstamp do not mess with me!

That is weird, mate. I am also based in the UK and I sent the funds on Friday and today I got my bitstamp account credited. You might want to raise a support ticket.

DougTanner, that is called a downward channel. There are also upward channels. They are pretty common in most markets. And indeed you have identified the current channel.   Cheesy

Nice to see recovery today.  Would be buying at the lows but currently holding coin.  Oh well, I still see this as a win-win eventually.

Oh Loaded, who art up in Mt. Gox, hallowed be thy name!  Thy dollars rain, thy will be done, on BTCUSD.  Give us this day our daily 10% 30%, and forgive the bears, as we have bought their bitcoins.  And lead us into quadruple digits
