Could this be happening? Be interesting where the next week or two takes us for sure.... this chart has no resemblance with bitcoin's pricing pattern, wake up It SORT OF does (not from the $200 point, but from the $130), only with a longer handle. First bitcoin crashed down from $266 to $130 (after some bouncing around). Then it went from $130 to $50-ish (downward part of cup). Then it went from $50 to $130 (upward part of cup). Then it went from $130 down to $60 again (really long handle). Its more like a zig-zag rather than a cup, though. The bottom wasn't nearly as smooth as the "cup".

It calmed down last few hours, where it would go... 3k coins are needed for 74$, about same for 64$. It's 67 now so it does look like it's slowly moving upward.

Its happening all the time. Take any upward (or DOWNWARD!) movement and you will be able to identify those "Cup and handle" patterns everywhere. No take one of a big timeframe and zoom in, what do you see?
SPOILER:
You guessed it, its the same patterns all over again. If you zoom in further, you can still see the same patterns again and again, its called "self-similarity" in mathematics and magically has its representation in nature as wall as in chart analysis. When you look at downward movements the same pattern appears, only on its head (put the cup upside down).
Thankyou, I think I have just woken up!

Sorry for already making one removed post, Adam . As long as this mega-thread isn't affecting the forum performance, I don't see why it should be closed. I mean, yes, efficiency, less off-topicness, I get the idea - but I'd like to imagine everyone wants the Gox Wall Observer info to be in one thread only. Too confusing otherwise. OT. Going between $73-$75 so I suppose we'll see what a few hours brings us to.

Oh Loaded, who art up in Mt. Gox, hallowed be thy name! Thy dollars rain, thy will be done, on BTCUSD. Give us this day our daily 10% 30%, and forgive the bears, as we have bought their bitcoins. And lead us into quadruple digits

I have been getting requests to start a new thread, so i thought i'd do that, and enforce the rules to "keep it clean".... it made sense in my head, now i see that mostly all the posts are valid, and once in awhile we get some funny gifs and troll posting, but that keeps things interesting, and makes me laugh. ok so everything is back to normal!
