It will drop to zero with certainty. I am just somehow curious what made it drop? The CEO not appearing at the Miami Bitcoin Conference?

Oh, he appeared. He just avoided every forum in which someone could possibly ask him a question in public.

Cheering for the "underdog" again Huh Go sell Hashfast stock bro  Cheesy Cheesy

The Hashfast drama was wrapped up last year and has nothing to do with GAW or Paycoin.

Why did you put quotes around "underdog?"   Huh   Huh   Huh

That word doesn't appear in my post.

Do you know how quotation marks work?   Cheesy

A bit thick too Huh U R a funny strange fellow  Roll Eyes

If you want me to explain how quotation marks work, I can copy/paste some helpful hints.

Are you saying that GAW/Paycoin is some kind of "underdog" being oppressed by the mean trolls here at BTCT?

I "guess" you're one of the "bagholders" who needs to find a "scapegoat" to "blame" for "Paycoin" not going to the "Moon."

Looks like xpy is heading back to drk on a large scale... sanity has returned...

What made it drop?

Nothing but blind hope and short term speculation is holding it up. It will go down and disappear but will take time.
If you have a bag accept your losses and move out.

It will drop to zero with certainty. I am just somehow curious what made it drop? The CEO not appearing at the Miami Bitcoin Conference?

I expect so. Some who were still holding on to the the belief that it will all come good and that they will be saved would have realised that they have been scammed.

The fact it is a scam? How many times do people need to get sucked into these things, get involved with a community and support a coin, instead of always chasing a quick buck, I personally think 2015 is the year of dark, we will see, one thing I do know is it is not a scam and has an awesome dev team, and so does the guy who has just put 400 btc on the table..

It may be painful , but get out while this think still has some value guys, as its going to be a car crash, all the signs are there... Dont be the bagholder.

xpy has recently opened on swissex.  The order book is so thin at the moment that a few xpy sold can make headlines of massive price swings  Smiley

Whichever way u want it to go .

https://www.swisscex.com/market/XPY_BTC

Total (BTC)   Size (XPY)   Bid
0.00135676   0.11306348   0.01200000
0.01244207   1.13109700   0.01100000
0.00100000   1.00000000   0.00100000
0.00025000   0.50000000   0.00050000

Ask   Size (XPY)   Total (BTC)
0.09330000   1.00000000   0.09330000

and here is the effect of a thin orderbook demonstrated and explained   My question is who's xpy were they selling at 5 cents?

The knock on effect of the crashing price was the sell/buy system was automatically selling XPY at the same reduced rate, so 1000's and 1,000's were sold as low as 5 cents ... this then had a delayed reaction on the exchanges, where prices began to tumble

My guess is all the supposed GAW faithful and the more astute ex-mod group who were able to grab the $0.10 paycoins are making out like bandits, dumping whilst still extolling the buy and hold virtues to the mugs.

EDIT: On another note can't login to HT anymore, one thing changed that is a i get CloudFlare ddos checking your browser page before HT comes up but then just a page of code when I try to login.

Oh, he appeared. He just avoided every forum in which someone could possibly ask him a question in public.

There was a fairly serious sell off when he bailed from the mining panel but it has recovered somewhat. There is some support around 0.013 or so.

Speaking of support, looks like someone's not happy with BITCOIN BAR, who's the main cheerleader now:

I don't see how GAW has any customers left. They have failed on so many levels and their leader couldn't muster up enough courage to talk at TNABC. What keeps them going? What promise are they still waiting to be fulfilled?

$20 buyback. For people who couldn't do the math to begin with (when they invested in XPY) this buyback promise can look like a good deal.

I'm just catching up on some reading now. Some awesome stuff out there.

https://hashtalk.org/user/gawceo/posts

Software worked fine. There was not enough market depth to support the feature.

Such fine working software without any sanity checks would be a fireable offense in any place I've worked at. But more importantly, where is the CAF, the pot of cash supposed to help with coin adoption? If not now, if not for the floor, when the fuck are you going to use it? There isn't any CAF is there? (should be #1 question for the Q&A that will never happen).

Quote
Been meeting with different resources all morning (about to start another one). To look at how we can help create more market depth.
Giving customers a way to use their paycoin is my highest priority.

... and then proceeded to troll HT. Wait, is HT the resource to create market depth? That kind of makes sense now.

Quote
No amount of testing would prevent this. It's a market challenge.

Right. Because testing is just about clicking a button here and there. Simulations and edge cases are such a waste of time. And monitoring the product after a release is a job for forum posters. Next time maybe give them a switch to turn the damn thing off when it starts heading towards a cliff.

What a nice shiny turd this is becoming  Roll Eyes

This may just be me... but if I was trying to duck out of something and I was a "CEO" of some company that was failing over and over again I would probably do this:

1) Get a hold of my #2 and have them make sure that whatever I was planning on announcing at that "something" was no where near capable of working... Maybe that is the truth, maybe the project needs a couple wrenches thrown in the gears...

2) Have that predetermined failure launch the day/night before that "something" to ensure failure right before...

3) Announce that I needed to fix a failed launch of (insert project here) and that my time was better spent directing the repair and relaunch of (insert project here again)...

4) Sigh at the relief that I won't need to answer any questions that could possibly be recorded and be used against me in a court of law...

Just my opinion though...

This space not for rent...
