So now this has got to be total bull shit. He's claiming to get thousands of customers signing up per day. Who the heck would believe this?

@ gawceo I must have missed that memo. Along with the few thousand customers that sign up a day

https://hashtalk.org/topic/29166/quick-poll-on-brand-loyality-and-community/20

200k customers + 2k new customers per day, yet only ~6000 xpy wallets are being used.

Seems legit.

Why would you ever need to move funds off of paybase when it offers so many features?

Don't forget 100-200 merchants inquiring daily (it was on youtube so must be true), not sure though if that's on top of the 100k merchants they signed up back in December...

I heard there are so many merchants now they are refusing to accept new merchants, cause there aren't enough paycoins to go around for all those merchants eager to take em!

@suchmoon,

"The dispute is mostly whether the intent (or at least some of it) was malicious, and whether the company can actually deliver something in the future."

Thanks for clarifying. You said it in one sentence where as it takes me a page of beating around the bush.

There is no dispute. Did hashlets exist? If yes, why did they abandon them so quickly, if no, obvious scam.

Where are the 1,000s of merchants, where was the $20 floor, where is anything they said was going to happen?

PCfan GAW 2015 Innovative Roots (Admin OP-ED)

https://archive.today/aoFWw

Paycoinnovation: Blatantly stealing other peoples work and passing it off as your own to other less informed individuals.

Example: Homero Hashking Garza tried innovating until he realized paycoinnovating is much easier and more profitable.

A peek inside of the Paycoin Innovation laboratory :

It seems Josh has discovered a new way to crush those pesky beer cans that keep building up while the "technicians" pull bongs and wash them down with brewskis. That is what you call INNOVATION folks! WooHoo! Paycoin PARTAY!

All of my posts are simply statements of my own personal opinions based on available information and pondering what might be possible considering human nature, with the goal of finding truth and preventing fraud. Please look at all of the facts and theories and put your thinking cap on to draw your own conclusions. If you feel that I have made a false statement or have been unnecessarily derogatory, I encourage you to please point it out, and if proven correct and/or reasonable I will remedy it. ~ Paul Revere

Baby steps. Some of us may not be ready for that yet. Give it another six months or so.

What are the specifics/procedures when it comes to the Miami Conference?

Can GAW/Paybase, as a Sponsor dictate how the Q&A is done?

- Garza sitting by himself answering questions asked by the audience (questions coming from people not chosen by Garza, but an independent third party)
(What will happen is Garza will have people sitting with him, and he will divert question to his cronies to answer)

- Garza making it seem like Q&A was his idea all along and isolating all questions to only "Paybase"
("Sorry this is a Paybase Q&A, we do not take questions concerning Hashlets or Paycoin, Zen, or the legitimacy or existence of our mining operations")

- Who is allowed into the venue/Q&A session

- Who gets to film it

I believe this may turn into a farse of a Q&A. I am sure there will be little accountability in this for GAW, if they can rig too much of it.

My understanding is that they could rig it to some (perhaps substantial) extent, but I don't think that's going to change anything. Supporters would see it as win, opponents would see it as a farce.

On the other hand, if it was an open Q&A and if GAW would get publicly embarrassed, the result would be roughly the same - supporters would see it as an unwarranted attack, opponents would see it as a defeat.

In any case stock up on popcorn.

I wonder if this has anything to do with paycoin2 or Josh.

@Pbpenthouse1 I need money fast. Will sell 1000XPY for $6 each off market with @taylan or other trusted individual as a trade coordinator.

Anyone that is ready to ride this rally, and wants to help out someone here in the HT forum, not the bots on Cryptsy, or the dumpers, please let me know.

Who the fuck is kidding who? Sure Ill buy all of your XPY at $6 a pop so that you can take all my money and go buy XPY for $3.50 at Cryptsy OR you can not buy any at all and really stick it to me and all the other bag-holders.

Will also sell smaller blocks ...but do not want to inconvenience anyone that acts as the coordinator.

Oh gee thanks. I wouldn't want you to inconvenience anyone while you're raping someone else.

As far as scamming attempts go, this is pretty pathetic. But it might even work, I mean there are people buying cashtakers with a guaranteed < 30% ROI  Grin

ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

https://hashtalk.org/topic/29246

tldr: it looks like they implemented a more conventional exchange UI, but I haven't tried it yet.

After Announcement- PayBase Update

This is an after Announcement...because....well...its already done.

Really the big items are as follows:

UI/UX Overhaul: The general user experience. You will see from the screenshots how much the actual UI has changed.

Balances Page: Shows all coin balances and allows for withdrawing/depositing with some nice cosmetics for new users.

Open Market: We are introducing an open market for trading between BTC and XPY. We plan to release more coins in the future as well. Ability to cancel open orders and view order history.

XPY Purchases: There have been changes to how XPY is purchased using BTC. Purchases now take place using the customer balance instead of waiting for deposits to convert. This means converting BTC/XPY is easier for the user and much faster.

This is the first step to give the community the first large scale, zero-cost currency exchange on the planet. More importantly, the new exchange is the key to many of the new features rolling!

So what does that mean? Trade all you XPY in PayBase!!!! There are no fees, and it will allow us to blow your mind.

Get ready.....more to come....

Actually, this is not about trying to rape anyone, or buy any more XPY.

..Some smart marketing guy once said that the best place to sell anything is where the customers that want it are...in this case HT.

I don't want anymore.   I just want out.  If anyone there wants my XPY, and they believe it will rise to above what they paid, then they are welcome to buy mine.

You guys have convinced me, and others that have left, like RootDude, Tankjnr, etc. that there is a lot to be desired in the administration of that company.

Just trying to exit...

Sure, whatever helps you justify your little scheme. Your sudden "conversion" doesn't make it right though.
