Don't forget 100-200 merchants inquiring daily (it was on youtube so must be true), not sure though if that's on top of the 100k merchants they signed up back in December...

I heard there are so many merchants now they are refusing to accept new merchants, cause there aren't enough paycoins to go around for all those merchants eager to take em!

My understanding is that they could rig it to some (perhaps substantial) extent, but I don't think that's going to change anything. Supporters would see it as win, opponents would see it as a farce.

On the other hand, if it was an open Q&A and if GAW would get publicly embarrassed, the result would be roughly the same - supporters would see it as an unwarranted attack, opponents would see it as a defeat.

In any case stock up on popcorn.

After Announcement- PayBase Update

This is an after Announcement...because....well...its already done.

Really the big items are as follows:

UI/UX Overhaul: The general user experience. You will see from the screenshots how much the actual UI has changed.

Balances Page: Shows all coin balances and allows for withdrawing/depositing with some nice cosmetics for new users.

Open Market: We are introducing an open market for trading between BTC and XPY. We plan to release more coins in the future as well. Ability to cancel open orders and view order history.

XPY Purchases: There have been changes to how XPY is purchased using BTC. Purchases now take place using the customer balance instead of waiting for deposits to convert. This means converting BTC/XPY is easier for the user and much faster.

This is the first step to give the community the first large scale, zero-cost currency exchange on the planet. More importantly, the new exchange is the key to many of the new features rolling!
