why exactly? CF has a proven track record

i would rather have them protect their sources to the fullest, also its not information that would make a difference

Listening to mike on this podcast and I actually take that back. He does a good job explaining why they do things the way they do.

What podcast? I did not see a link.

I am assuming this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmz1Y6EVJng

Yes it is. I am watching it now.

Same here. Is this Shibe person a woman or pre-pubescent kid?

She is a woman....a person of your stature should yield from taking pot shots at others.

I also interviewed with her as well, was a great interview!

Oh, I wasn't taking a pot shot! I was genuinely curious. I didn't think pre-pubescent was a pejorative. I listened to about 45 minutes of the interview with Mike Johnson, in all. Sent *her* a few Doge as a thanks for getting the guy on air.

Ok fair enough.

It's sometimes hard to determine if one is trolling or not.   Smiley

I own btcfeed.net and after publishing articles about paycoin in the past we have been mysteriously hit with a DDOS attack shortly after. We decided to stop reporting about paycoin because we didnt want to loose traffic from the ddos that followed. I salute cryptocoinsnews for standing up against this scum and we will soon be publishing an additional report about gawceo and paycoin.
Are you serious? Just this Friday, one of your most prolific writers offered Garza to write a positive review of CoinStand on BTCFeed "to rebuild the trust".

Btcfeed and ccn take bribes, you can tell when Homero doesn't pay and they write negative articles.

Rebuild trust aka coinstand invite aka MacBook gift from Homero from Amazon aka bribe

btcfeed has never taken any bribes and has never been paid by homero.
Here are our reports regarding paycoin.

We first posted a warning regarding paycoin on december 9th, 2014: http://btcfeed.net/fraud/gaw-miners-scam/

Then we followed up about community concerns regarding paycoin on december 23rd: http://btcfeed.net/news/paycoin-latest-coin-gaw-raises-concern-among-crypto-communities/
Then came another big warning regarding paycoin on december 31st: http://btcfeed.net/fraud/paycoin-next-big-scam-crypto/
Then we explained  Why You Should Not Attend The Miami Bitcoin Conference and support paybase: http://btcfeed.net/fraud/not-attend-miami-bitcoin-conference/

Now remember, during that period josh was full at it with advertising paybase on various news sites. They were all over newsBTC, ccn, and other big sites. We never hosted any of their ads or received any payment. Do not accuse us of accepting payment from Homero.

Oh FFS, I though the term 'CMO' stood for "Chief Marketing Officer", but apparently it must mean "Communications Mangling Operative"
https://hashtalk.org/topic/35150/following-a-delay-in-withdrawals-on-paybase-enhanced-security-measures-account-for-all-funds
Quote
Bloomfield, CT – After limited access during the course of the past nine plus days, users of PayBase and ZenCloud have resumed in the ability to withdraw funds from their online wallet accounts. The delay happened as a result of enhanced security measures employed by GAW Miners, the company that owns the PayCoin wallet services. The security measures taken are a part of an enhanced practice that has ensured the security of customer funds to the extent that no funds have ever been compromised. While the delay in withdrawals certainly caused some anxiety among PayBase customers, the delay versus a loss of funds was greatly appreciated.

Heightened security was implemented as a result of many of GAW Miners’ Hashstakers expiring, leading to a release of thousands of PayCoins and an overwhelming amount of activity. The enhanced level of security ensured proper funds were being directed to the rightful PayCoin owners’ ZenCloud account and the accounting of all funds.

“It’s no secret we’ve been hacked from outside sources, but these nefarious efforts have never resulted in customer funds being compromised, ever,” said H. Josh Garza, CEO of GAW Miners, the company that operates PayBase and ZenCloud. “Because of the ongoing attempts to undermine our systems, we’ve employed very rigorous levels of security that some just don’t like, but in the end are appreciated as we’ve never lost customers’ fund. However, we’ve learned that there will always be critics.”

The theft of cryptocurrencies has been pervasive in a category that can best be likened to the wild west of the financial sector, where integrity and honor are seemingly at a loss. The much-publicized Bitcoin theft in February 2014 is a case in point as cryptocurrencies, as secure as they may be, are for all intents and purposes a bearer instruments.

“Just recieved my missing bitcoin Deposit, thanks Paybase team, just please next time be quicker ☺ ) but still KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.” Said Archibullo, a blogger on the Hashtalk blogsite in response to the company’s effort.

Do you even English . . .?

An awful, just awful, piece of writing. Apparently, whatever issues Homero has regarding his consistently appalling abuse of grammar is contagious.

For a, supposedly, multi-million-dollar operation, you'd think they'd actually employ a professional marketing & communications officer somewhere along the way.

Our friend Carsen Klock needs help clearing up his rep:

https://forum.gethashing.com/t/watchlist-gawminers-paybase-zencloud/67/2659

Please be polite and I mean it.

Hmm, interesting.

It isn't such a good idea to just release a bunch of Coins as if you are going to develop on them only to dump Coins and abandon it. The thing is that there were a few people that did say some of his Coins were quite good and went where he'd clone them, do some work on them and call it original, dump the premine and repeat. It IS kinda scammy since people are expecting the premine to be used for the advancement of the Coin so people get mad when they are lied to for personal profit. Seems like he wants to try and make it up but it would likely take a while for him to regain that reputation.

I think if Carson really wants to improve his rep then he should do some free development for some active Coins and help people around the community to rebuild that trust.

To say I am a different person than I was 6 months ago doesn't actually mean too much because a person doesn't change that much in 6 months, actions speak louder than words.

Any altcoin trying to appeal to users as legit should not associate at all with carsenK.

Anyone who thinks making a 360 from his previous scams is a good thing clearly should stay far away from anything remotely mathematical.

Are you affiliated with CCN?
I don't know if there's any affiliation between CCN and BTCFeed (probably not), but jdebunt, their most prolific writer, has also written for CCN.

There is an asterisk to make there, as I have written for CCN before 2014, back when their website layout was completely different Smiley

In fact, the only articles of mine that ever appeared there - as far as I can remember - were related to Worldcoin, back when altcoins didn't crawl out of the woodworks and only one of them popped up every few weeks.

Oh, and some article(s) about RapidBalls.eu Smiley

(i'm looking to find them right now, will update later)

Well, I see that he claims that around the internet, and I'm trying to find one article from him.

I know he hasn't worked here the whole time I've been here (beginning last November).

I'm scrollling up from December 2013 here: http://web.archive.org/web/20140512092412/http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/team/

Anyway, he hasn't worked here during the entire Paycoin fiasco.

I've been around for a long time in the writing industry Smiley

But as I mentioned in my previous post, my last post for CCN was in November of 2013.

"Claiming" is a strong word, as I did do freelance work for CCN back in the days.

Then again, I worked for sites before CCN which aren't around anymore now either, so let's just say it's part of the "resumé".

This is the first piece of writing I was ever paid for: http://www.undergroundvoices.com/UVMadorePH.htm

Around the same time when I lost my dishwashing job I got some writing work with Flagpole Magazine in Athens, Georgia.

I made $8.50 from an e-book I published with One-Legged Cow Press.

Between 2006 and 2011 I was consistently in the red with a number of publishing projects (the majority of which can be viewed at http://scribd.com/disproductions), and essentially quit trying after that.

I was studying to be a mechanic when I discovered Bitcoin in late 2013. I applied to write for CCN in June of 2014 and heard back in November.

This past weekend I was the interim editor-in-charge. I don't know if that's a thing that will happen again, but it was a good experience.

Can you post your resume for transparency?

You mean all the sites I worked for to date? Sure Smiley (will need to look up some details if you want precise dates, but...)

- CryptoNerd.co  (2013 - did a few guides and individual articles)
- CryptoSource.org (2013 - freelance/news tips-based)
- CryptoCoinsNews (2013 - news tips-based & freelance for a brief stint)
- CryptoArticles (January 2014 - February 2015 (we sold the site) - Editor & Co-Owner)
- CoinTelegraph (2014 - freelance basis, 7 or 8 articles in total)
- BTCFeed (2015 - freelance)
- Bitcoinist (2014 & 2015 - freelance)
- BitcoinAliens (since last week, submitted two articles, one is published, other will follow today or tomorrow - freelance)
- MiningPool.co.uk - (2015 - freelance)
- DigitalMoneyTimes (they bought CryptoArticles - February 2015 till present day - Editor)

I think that is all, but I'll double check to make sure Smiley

I'm flattered. This Paytard thinks he can blackmail my retraction/firing/and public apology all with documents which are most likely fake:

I'm trying to figure out who we have that writes for Bitscan.

Oh, but looking closer, these are from July. There is only one July in our history, so blacking out the "4" is retarded. That makes the search easier.

I encourage him to publish the documents. It won't cast a dark shadow over us. It's a writer you're talking about, not David Parker, not me. Trying to blackmail my firing is immoral and illegal on so many levels. And so typical of these fucking douchebag cultists, I might add.

Did I read correctly that Coinstand is hosted on Carsen Fucking Klock's personal server? I know he says "hosted" in past tense, but that leaves it a little unclear as to whether he still hosts the site. If so, WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK.

most likely constand was only a tiny side project for Mr. Klock. he worked quite long for GAW. it looks like his hands are pretty clean form the evidence we can see. il reserve my judgement for now. but there must be a reason he was hand picked to work for GAW in the first place
i dont really understand why Mr. Gonzo tried to lie and say he only did the landing page.
