holy sh.it i was thinking cryptsy is legit and soon delist this scamcoin and now they bought a poopcoin prime controller?

What makes you think they paid for it?

Technically it was purchased for $1

It was not a bribe for us to upgrade to the new wallet. As with every currency we list we would like to see it succeed. We thought opening a prime controller and being transparent about the funds gained and where they are going would be beneficial for the community.

No coins will be moved from our scraping address until we have come up with the best plan to benefit the community. Whether that is simply burning the coins or distributing them to our users has yet to be decided. We have agreed to not sell any of the minted coins. Our motive was not to profit from the prime controller

That's some Garza grade BS.

What part of your shitcoin exchange getting 1% of some shitcoins market cap for free benefits the community?

If you have a shred of integrity you'd burn 100% of the coins ASAP. But seeing as how profiting off of scams is pretty much your business, I doubt you'll really consider it.
Cryptsy is set to receive 2 additional PCs. That would bring Cryptsy holdings to around 3% of all coins. At today's prices it is worth 300 BTC. If one takes into account 100% staking coin allocation and bribe is even bigger.

Cryptsy is no longer nuetrally and indirectly profiting from this scam but not directly complicit in supporting it and exposing all their clients to investigations and the added liability of directly working with Paycoin. I would suggest everyone ostracize and avoid Cryptsy like the plague as this is an ethical line that has been crossed while other exchanges are embarrassed to even indirectly profit off of paycoin by listing it.

How do prime controllers help anyone but the people with them? How can creating a bunch of coins to dump help other people with coins?

lets not forget now Cryptsy is a (critical) voting partner in the future of paycoin. what makes this extra shady is Verns past dealings with Mr. Garbozo... soo:
i hope they get the full scrutiny of agencys. since it seems to be a non issue to blindly accept random assets backed with questionable fiat sources

Even if they do take all the inflation and give it to charity or back to the users there are still 2 problems:

1) Conflict of interest as they are no longer a nuetral exchange but directly invested in a specific coin
2) They can use it as a PR stunt and leverage those coins to further profit off this paycoin fraud and extracting more trading fees.

lets not forget now Cryptsy is a (critical) voting partner in the future of paycoin. what makes this extra shady is Verns past dealings with Mr. Garbozo... soo:

Any daytraders on Cryptsy will also be exposed to this scrutiny and thus should find another exchange ASAP.

WTF is this talk about giving PC to cryptsy because of decentralisation??

Exactly what and how does a special wallet do to "support the network" any better than ANY other wallet in the network?

This is just smoke and mirrors to get cryptsy involved in pumping the scamcoin and they seem to be ok with it

to be honest its decentralization of current power structure. now there is 1 more player doing the decision making. of course its Mr. Garza's weird wording tactics (now used by XPY Devs, apple doesnt fall far from the tree it seems) since decentralization means totally different thing in crypto world

Yep the very existence of the Prime Controllers is a contradiction to decentralization.  I believe the rumors that Craptsy is insolvent why else pull a desperate move like this.  If everyone starts pulling their coins I'll guess we'll find out.

I suppose this proves that Josh and GAW never hired some of the best developers in the ecosystem as they claimed. Everything they touch is buggy and insecure as the worst of all shitcoins.

New Plottwist?

If this is true, then cryptsy is now part of the paycoin fraud - and dead to me. I won't touch cryptsy anymore, not even with a 10 foot pole.  Angry
Can someone confirm that cryptsy now holds a "prime controller" of the paycoin network?

Is cryptsy corrupt or is it all in your head??

The only real partnership Homero made isn't being advertised, that really shows his only goal was to dump. He hates that cryptsy can also dump now.

I know it's hard to turn down free money, but cryptsy should have turned down free money.

Unlike some others, my experience with cryptsy has been largely positive. I'm not a high roller, but it was my primary exchange. I like the UI, they make working in USD really easy, they (eventually) handle every ticket, and withdrawal checks are sent immediately. That last one is huge because they're like a quarter of the cost of coinbase.

I don't know if I can use them anymore. They really need to explain this or give it back immediately. This is just too dirty.

There's many stories of bigger accounts getting frozen and cryptsy just keeping the money. Selective theft.

Not just dump XPY, either. I'm pretty sure almost all of his wealth is in BTC. Buttercoin wouldn't let him sell, and Coinbase dropped him. My guess is that Cryptsy is where Garza dumps BTC for USD. There aren't many places left.

Garza can't speak out against Cryptsy because there are precious few places left to go, and he doesn't want to be some poor muggle.

Bullshit

I know for a fact that Cryptsy froze coins of users and then played arbitrage with same coins before releasing them days later. That is fraud. What they are doing with Paycoin is fraud.

Case fucking closed.

Pull your coins out of Crapsy now.

Hes locked himself out of his account.. if they did not ask for him to prove himself . they would be in danger of handing over the account to the wrong person..

Do you understand this?
