almost no one moved to mineral, their next scam. how do they expect people to go for a crowd funder, or this other garbage they came up with? there's no way someone would fall for this, right?

It seems to be just another failed attempt to get a little pump action on market so Josh can dump more. Just my opinion of the crowd-funding thing.

Mintsy is really nicely made but mining prices are little bit too high imaho.UI , renting rigs nice
Of course there is a premium because their mining is legit (think so).
At least they not over-deliver then Poof.
always depends what electric costs are, here in Europe close to 30 cents /kwh.there only cloudmining makes sense where electric is included/cheaper.

Unless mintsy were to be able to be audited in real-time by an independent third-party service to prove they were not operating fractional mining with 'virtual miners', I wouldn't touch their GAWMiner-like 'hashflex, liteflex and xflex' with a bargepole.

WARNING!!! Check your forum URLs carefully and avoid links to phishing sites like 'thebitcointalk' 'bitcointalk.to' and 'BitcointaLLk'

You can verify your hashrate by pointing it to any external pool and worker you wish. But for a full audit all miners would need to move to external pools.

http://www.primeblocks.com/ is done if anyone cares. ( Its still finishing its sync though ) I think its something that was needed regardless of if we acquired the one we did

searching 35016 will bring up the history for the key cryptsy was given as its keyID is 350:16

Thanks again for the help dooglus

XPY is still on your exchange
You still have the XPY PC

Therefore no one cares about Cryptsy. It is now contaminated with fraud.

BitJohn said: "Cryptsy's prime node was acquired post Garza involvement in the coin."
and should everyone blindly trust this statement? where is the concrete proof of this in public domain?
you are saying Mr. Garza wont be finding 15 PC's under a couch cushion. i hope you realize no one trusts empty statements around XPY anymore

and Big Vern maybe you should have prepared a statement about the PC. that is how you battle misinformation. you decided not to do it and blame BCT of being tabloid

I suggest you stop investing your time and resources toward XPY ecosystem. This is horrible - your exchange is creating a service for only one coin although hundreds are traded on the exchange. Are you an independent intermediary or another Ganza developer?

Mullick, seeing as BitJohn kept dodging the question, perhaps you can help to explain how your exchange holding a 'Prime Controller' serves to protect the coin network better than a regular wallet.

They still stake with the same frequency as a regular wallet, correct? PoS is based on amount being staked plus coin age usually so, again, I can't see how the fact the 'PC' awards a larger return on the stake than a regular wallet is going to make the 'PC' able to better protect the coin network.

That was done in my free time to provide transparency that about them that nobody has offered yet including gaw

From my perspective.

The larger stake rate makes the staking more worth wild. 5% annually on a small portion of our allocation to customers isnt enough to get people excited about the payouts they would receive I wouldnt think. They would be dust and just annoy people.

If the staking is worth the effort its one step torwards reducing gaw and the foundations stake weight % which grants the ability for malicious activity if they wished to do that

"netstakeweight" : 5242700.47762096,

I dont think its a stretch to say that likely 80% of that comes for Gaw, The foundation and the other unknown prime controller owners. If they chose they could perform numerous dos attacks on the blockchain. Or build their own chain on the side and attempt a double spend at cryptsy or any other exchange/service. Although it would be prety foolish of them as it would likely devalue the coin that they have so much of

1 Prime controller isnt going to do much. But if they distributed a lot more to a lot more people it would.

At this time cryptsy's prime controller is not active and all scraped coins remain untouched. It will remain this way until we make an announcement with what we plan to do. I dont expect many people to trust http://www.primeblocks.com/ but i built it to prove to ourselves that gaw or the foundation were not also using the key we were provided. But also to prove that we are not currently using it. I encourage someone to make an independent prime controller monitor

Even better, that makes you free Ganza developer. Why don't you spend your free time on building an ecosystem  of non-scam coins that are listed on Cryptsy. Are you amused by the scam?

It is not about the incentives for other people to keep their wallet stake but rather how is Cryptsy securing the network by having 100% stake wallet vis-a-vis 5%. In either case Cryptsy can just stake and scrap the staked coins.

If the staking is worth the effort its one step torwards reducing gaw and the foundations stake weight % which grants the ability for malicious activity if they wished to do that

So you are acknowledging that having 1 (or even 3) PCs will actually not make the network secure because certain entities control more than 50% of network weight, i.e. the network is extremely vulnerable? Then why do you keeping XPY listed?

This very thing is having criminal laws written on in many states. It is known as revenge porn and the authorities are looking for people to make an example of.

Same laws have been introduced here in the UK as well.  You go to prison for this now.

Right, so the fact is that your properly-licensed US-based exchange is holding a Prime Controller solely so you can entice customers.

It is absolutely nothing at all to do with 'protecting the network', because a PC does nothing of the sort.

The truth is that you aren't doing it 'for the community', you aren't doing it to 'protect the network', you are doing it solely so you can offer your customers an incentive to trade XPY on your exchange which, as has already been acknowledged by Adam Matlack, lends legitimacy to XPY it would otherwise not have.
