Anyone know where to get a working paycoin wallet that will get beyond the 277th block? and yes I have uninstalled and deleted the roaming folder. Still hangs at 277. What's bad is I test mined using west hash last night on suchpool, and used a receive address from the wallet I had, only to realize when I wasn't getting my payouts, that it was stuck lol.... luckily it was only a half a paycoin  Shocked  lol  But well worth the $3.77 to break the ice" using a rental service for the first time.

Go to your Appdata folder and find the Paycoin folder therein (on windows .. linux would be something like .paycoin, not sure about Mac).  Delete EVERYTHING including the directory EXCEPT the wallet.dat file.  Do not just reinstall, it won't delete the data files.

You must have somehow not deleted everything... the getting stuck at 277 means you still have old blockchain info.

You do not need to reinstall, just delete everything (except wallet.dat) and restart.

hmmm that's what I did I even tried it with a new wallet.dat aside from my ordinal I saved elsewhere. It updates until it hits block 277. Again I deleted the whole apps data folder before fresh reinstall. I am using version .v0.1.2.0

but thanks! anything else installed somewhere else maybe?  Huh

I have wallet 0.1.2.10

C:\program files\paycoin

I didn't see any folder in program files after"  uninstalling? still the same problem.

I downloaded the win32 from pcoin site, still the same hangs at 277... never had this issue lol

You keep running the OLD client. Notice it says v0.1.2.0? It needs to end in 10 not 0.

Hey where to download from? I have looked around and someone here posted a link but only it was the same wallet version...If there is a newer client,, post the link and Ill surely try!  Cheesy lol

It's sad he's preying on the poor, elderly, children, foreigners.

*And intellectually savaged products of the education system that are utterly convinced they are smart.

I just don't get some of these people. The two guys at the end of the chat were a  joke. Then they were talking about dumb and dumber 2. You can't script this shit.. They deserve whats coming. Unfortunately there will be good honest people caught in the chaos.

That Josiah guy was not that intelligent.  "You gotta put your own skin into it." that's all he kept saying.  Then he said  he went to the Nightcrawler movie with Jake Gyllenhaal thinking it was an X-Men movie.  Lol shows that this guy really knows how to research stuff.

Idk I'm kinda pissed most agreed Bitcoin isn't viable so they could make a couple bucks, they betrayed Bitcoin

A lot of people see Paycoin as a way to make more Bitcoin than they would by mining straight BTC, most of my XPY will be converted to BTC whenever i can, the rest will go in HashStakers and XPY daily payout will be converted to BTC as well.

When i started in crypto a little more than one year ago i gave myself a goal to get 20 BTC that i will hold long term on a paper wallet, i tought it will get me at least 4 years to reach it since i invested only a little on a few gpu rigs.

If GAW plans goes well and XPY is exchangeable for around 20$ a pop for at least 72h then i'm all good,i could keep my 20 BTC and start investing in a home mining farm with the profits, after that all is profit and i'll don't give a shit if the whole hashbase/paybase thing collapse.

Cheesy lol

The paycoin.com link was supposed to take you here
https://github.com/GAWMiners/paycoin/releases/tag/v0.1.2.10

EDIT: apparently paycoin site hasn't updated their site link to the revised version is what I'm thinking? k
Yes I see that it does now... its all good  Wink I really do appreciate it... both of your links where what I was looking for... for some reason first link took me to an older version... I think..  tried so many I have lost track,,, lol thanks again just the same!

Yep, that must be it. There is a floor, but it only works if nobody is selling.
