Here's my thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=897151

But I have just opened the box, I haven't plugged in the miner yet. Any suggestions which pool to connect it to? I might try a stab at ck's solo pool.

I am at 700-something watts and SP20 is stable. See below .
Cannot seem to shake off overheating of two loops-3 chips; I marked those that have 105-110C vs 85C for the rest)), hence cannot easily move to fan 40 or below.
Any suggestions? thanks

Wrong pc so I am using my second account.  I am philima1957

here is a screen shot of all 6 sp20's hash rates and settings.

I am using the new firmware
I almost bricked one of the six units doing the firmware upgrade.
You need to use higher settings like .68 .68 .68 .68   then max at .685  fans at 50 or more.
then when you do the rebooting the machine will start.  after it reboots and starts you can lower the fans to 20 or 30 and lower your settings.  as you see all of my six are hashing at 1300 or lower. and fans are 20 or 30.  my attached garage is less noisy.  I can do more machines  my power is 6 x 700 = 4200 watts.  the garage has 5 circuits in it that means I can push to 7k watts safely. I think I could run 9 of these. Have to wait a bit to decide if  I order 3 more.

1956jUdYPFwiBSzt9AECdWj3KE4WV7taiM I can't do 1957philma.. for btc address the i are not allowed This is a secondary account for Philipma1957, don't do business with this account deal with philipma1957

Hey, check out my rate and ASIC count at the bottom of the ASIC stats picture on my prior post: it's 3005 GH/s rate (instead of something below 1400Gh/s) and 6744 !!! ASIC count (instead of 32). Weird...

So you want to know how I feel?
Since I purchased 5 from them and received 1x 150 dollar coupon and a Hero member got a 700 dollar machine.
How do I feel that this thread has more the 8000 hits?
How do I feel that raskul got 5 referrals from me? He did give me 1x 80 dollar coupon.
How do I feel that most likely I helped sell quite a few of these with this thread.

as James Brown would say :

I will.

For me and the issue of the free miner. Well I did get 230 in coupons. 80 on the first well before the 'free' ones. 150 on the last after the free ones.  230 off is not the same as a 814 usd free miner, but I managed to get all six (one from a really good ebay sale) and have them running during the paycoin = huge rental on nice-west hash.

I have earned almost 3 in btc since sunday.
I should have earned .45 btc.  That is 2.55 extra in btc and I rented my signature to nice-west hash for a month.

So I actually did pretty well without the free sp20.  I also know I sold off a lot of s-3's at a good price and helped members that purchased them make good money if they used nice hash.  All of them got the s-3's on Monday so they were able to use nice hash or west hash or both.

All in all my spondoolies adventure has been good.

And

I cant believe Guy sent ASICMINER shill a free product.
...
Jimmothy was always my favorite AM SH.
Hopefully Phillip got 1 too, he actually goes to bat for you guys!

Is it a bit excessive warmongering?
