Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

A client in which mining involves seeding torrents would be very nice. Monetize the sharing!

mac wallet is this safe to use It is perfectly 'safe' in using any version of the client as long as you DO NOT encrypted your client or by keeping a working backup of the encrypted client (wallet.dat) before you create any new address every time. This possible bug with the client is NOT RELATED to hacking of any sort, my best guess and what I am focusing now is that the bug could be related to how the client generate new address in an already encrypted client and possibly in some circumstances affected the wallet.dat file making it impossible to get the client to unlock even with the correct passphrase. My first priority right now is to try to duplicate the issue and try to find the real cause of the bug. I have tried to get in touch with xCash developer since their users is apparently also affected by the same 'possible bug' but still haven't heard back from him so far. Thank you all for understand and support.

Will this project by any chance integrate a decentralized tracker for the torrents? I think the torrent community is in desperate need of this!! A decentralized tracker service would be massive game changer. Please look into this!

Major dump on LTC going on atm. Who knows, all that BTC and, better yet, Scrypt hashing power has to go somewhere.....might as well be VTR

After reading what the Dev posted about the password prob, I checked both my VTR and Xcash wallets by doing a transaction over to Bittrex, everything went through ok, I'm on Ubuntu 14.10, both wallet we're compiled from source.

But as far we don´t drop again to under 0.000004 level I think all is fine

I just set up my wallet a few hours ago and it synced pretty quickly. Named the file vtorrent.conf in the appdata/roaming/vtorrent folder like this: rpcuser=username rpcpassword=password rpcallowip=localhost rpcport=22524 port=22523 gen=0 server=1 addnode=31.220.49.95:32524 addnode=31.220.49.178:42524 addnode=108.61.242.254 addnode=108.35.173.204 addnode=85.24.143.44 addnode=104.236.20.112 addnode=212.204.164.23 addnode=82.130.210.236 addnode=24.37.155.182 addnode=192.99.13.67 addnode=25.169.124.62 addnode=46.165.209.144 addnode=37.187.144.36 addnode=104.236.43.108
