So... those people want torrenting to be a for-pay system? This sounds like the anti-piracy argument about money would become a lot stronger. I'd rather sharing be part of the mining process, so that no one is directly paying money for a download. Having the currency itself reward sharing is a much better system. |

Looks a really cool project  Dev im not the type to moan and demand updates but I can say that you have a potential game changer here and the competition is slowly moving into this space. I appreciate your work so far, just hope we are not too late with the tech |

Old news around here. It's pre alpha hype. What you and many fail to notice is that SDC code is used by vtr. SDC is running behind release dates. I don't know for sure, but I guess there are several people working on vtr directly and indirectly. SDC code probably being merged with bittorent. But that's speculation. This project needs better comms, that's for sure But even projects with good communications fail to live up to expectations. I'm still waiting for mastercoin or omni to do something. Edit One way or another this project will go live. |

Is there a quick download of the blockchain, I'd like to take my coins out of bittrex but updating is very slow.

The dev has a fully working client ready, but is stalling so people loose faith and dump their coins.
Cheap coins for the dev and inner circle, and then release the bittorent feature.
