BitBay on Uniswap is now live and tested. The bridge to Polygon is now active. Users can now move funds over to Polygon to trade and use BitBay.

Also BitBay is trading on NightTrader which was a DEX made by Yshurik. It's a good exchange that has spent several years in development and testing and uses threshold signatures and signature hashes for trades and is very safe compared to other exchanges. Its like a high speed Bitcoin UTXO DEX.

Also this is a critical update for BitBay Halo and QT. You can not use the bridge to move coins without updating. Please heed this warning because lots of important updates and fixes were made to both pieces of software. The bridge itself is mostly decentralized using merkle trees and has also been under a couple years of development.

If all this goes well, the community might want to consider full time move to Polygon/Solana/Avalanche/ETH/etc... to tap fully into Defi and get rid of any curation between the native and new chains in one stroke.

Also, the BitBay web markets have been running with AI community driven decentralized curation for commercial viability! It uses of course double deposit escrow and works right now with DAI and Polygon. You can be an affiliate and spread the word about the decentralized markets. Users are the affiliates and the contract is permanent on chain so fully decentralized with perfect safety and can even be run offline. So, it's hard to trade Bitbay
I received and moved my Bitbay wallet address from an exchange called LATOKEN, but it was not confirmed by LATOKEN.

I’m not interested in debating tone, motives, or speculation about who I might be. The only relevant point is that my transaction was stuck while the bridge was not operational, and I did not have a clear timeline at the time. Whether you describe the issue as “compromised nodes” or nodes offline and resyncing, the substance is the same: the bridge was down and funds were affected. Linking the Telegram message was to show why normal support stopped being possible after the ban, not to relitigate anyone’s emotions. If the resolution is simply that the bridge will be back up in a few days and funds will clear, I’m fine waiting on that outcome.

Been there with bridges before, and honestly this kind of situation isn’t rare. Nodes offline, resyncing, compromised different terms, same result for users: stuck tx. If support channels go quiet on top of that, frustration is expected. Waiting a few days once there’s confirmation is usually the least painful option

Update for clarity and timeline:

For context, I first reported the stuck bridge transaction after already waiting four days.
That was on December 11.

It is now December 17, and the bridge is still not operational and my funds are still stuck.

I was told “a couple days” pending a resync. At this point, we are well past that window. If the issue is still ongoing, the only reasonable next step is a concrete update on the current state of the resync and confirmation that affected funds remain recoverable.

This isn’t escalation for its own sake. It’s a request for an updated status based on the actual elapsed time.

Read up, you were told 5-7 days and that was 5 days ago and syncing is about 90%. Stop the fud. Syncing the chain takes time. Also I told you to take your request to Telegram.

I was “told to take it to Telegram” after I was already banned from Telegram, which is the entire reason this thread exists. Telling someone to use a support channel you removed them from is not guidance. It is stonewalling.

You can call it 5–7 days or “a couple days” but the clock is the clock. My funds have been stuck since the 11th. When you finally finish syncing, I expect resolution — not recycled excuses.

I said to take it to Telegram because you are melodramatic and you already know my username on there and I have not blocked you. Even after I'm in sync with the blockchain I'm still going to have to check to make sure the merkle database is up to date. You were only kicked from the main thread for using sockpuppets. It's not stonewalling, PM me and I will talk to you cordially. You are free to PM me on bitcointalk as well. This thread is for community updates mainly not for customer service or drama. This is a community driven project.

Hi so obviously as I said 7 days it would be in sync and indeed it is. As stated each node who manages the bridge has to catch up to check all the prior bridge merkles to know which to monitor and post. Its doing that now. If for whatever reason it doesn't post/sync I can simply check the data and ensure it syncs(which might take a day to troubleshoot so just a heads up). So I will check to see if all of the latest merkles get posted. Can you please PM me your merkle receipt? That way I can see which hash it is a part of and double check the smart contract to see if the proof has been generated.
