or really starting to get to be a nooobie again.. what;s happening guys. last night one wallet stopped syncin at 210030 another at 210059

I think some clients are lagging behind because the majority of nodes are on local user connections. I mined a block and it took > 40 seconds to show up on chains. Once we have a full release version and binaries we can spin up more VPS based nodes and improve connectivity and latency |

Aha, so we can run BNs on VPS instances as before, but mine from a local Pi2, with the number of consecutive blocks we can mine dependent on how many 50k lumps we control? That would prevent people getting their cheap VPS services suspended for constant CPU use...  |

Chain is moving - miners are mining (at bugger all wattage and only if they've got 50k BCR) - Banknodes are Banknoding... I suppose we can let you slow down to mere-mortal mode for a few hours. edit: chainz seems to have caught up. yeah, gonna relax a little and watch blocks, banknode count in the daemon is accurate, but not on chainz. If the next payout block works out, then i can breathe easy. The exceptions are being raised by null responses from external data sources. |

Hmm... so I have one banknode that is stuck at block 210032, one that is stuck at 210063, and one that is stuck at 210016.
It seems that when I clean out the .bitcredit directory and re-download the blockchain, I get to a certain point where the node just won't progress.
Could someone please clarify if I need to change my settings for a banknode? Do banknodes now need to mine (setgenerate true), or can they operate as before, where you could configure them as you would a DASH masternode? Do I have to configure grantsdb somehow?
I am just trying to piece together information from this thread, and I'm not sure I have the whole picture.

Hmm... so I have one banknode that is stuck at block 210032, one that is stuck at 210063, and one that is stuck at 210016.
It seems that when I clean out the .bitcredit directory and re-download the blockchain, I get to a certain point where the node just won't progress.
Could someone please clarify if I need to change my settings for a banknode? Do banknodes now need to mine (setgenerate true), or can they operate as before, where you could configure them as you would a DASH masternode? Do I have to configure grantsdb somehow?
I am just trying to piece together information from this thread, and I'm not sure I have the whole picture.
This is a connectivity issue, please add the nodes you can see from either banknode list or from chainz network tab. you don't need to re-download the whole chain if you're in a huryy, just bootstrap from dragos' files. There are no new changes to banknodes, what we have changed is consensus rules. Only an address is balance > 50K BCR is eligible for mining. No key can produce consecutive blocks. grantsdbdat, miners.dat and balances.dat are system files, they are not to be manually modified, that would result in no sync. You are right though, information in this thread is very fragmented. |

about the same problem of stuck on downloading the blockchain ... @bitcreditscc I've did some investigation and for some reason the test on some wallet of the block fail because of a problem in grantdb.dat me, on one wallet i'm stuck @210134, because 210135 fail on checks. 2015-10-03 17:57:11 Block has been processed.
