OK, rather than halting the network and having to start back up again, we'll do a live roll-out. I've updated the git and the upgrade is enforced @block 213200. All obsolete versions will be cut out.
That means update, update before you get cut out. Using this method means we don't have to stop the chain and it's a pain getting it to normal rates like this. It also means services won't have to do much to get up to date.

Can the OP at least stay updated to the current wallet? It is hard to see what the current wallet is trying to scroll from page to page to find a link. The link in the OP does not even work for the wallet now or at least when I click it. I just finally got my wallet synced (or at least I hope it is). |

I do want to bring in more people but ones i studied seemed full of trolls and get rich quick characters, not at all suited to the way we do things here. The offer is still open but most of them will hold till it completely dies, hoping and wishing for a pump on their abandoned projects. Taking people that desperate for quick profit may end up being a total disaster. Getting them to abandon ship will be tough for you. You can start a vote on the issue. |

I get after some time "Exception caught basic_string::substr" errors, could it be wallet related or something with ubuntu ? Im using new wallet of course. :EDIT luckily, one of google searches looks familiar : https://github.com/bitcreditscc/bicreditsnew/issues/48 |

bidtracker would have failed to retrieve data from an api BNs stil are working, so is it normal or some problem, if bidtracker uses standard rpc/default ports then I guess there's no need to open some additional ? About updates, did you looked at dashman https://github.com/moocowmoo/dashman , which I had mentioned previously , some modification of it could be useful ? Status info from the last screenshot looks really great. |

Perhaps someone else can take that up. as it is i am far too swamped to add maintenance of another repo. for an idea of how far behind we are, just look @ how long it's been since i last touched electrum.  |

I'd gladly vote in Thelonecruton and dragos_bdi for their debugging & win wallet creation skills. If you did have a date set hopefully all platforms would be ready in advance so you could just update the main links. |

No im not a chill account, lost access to my previous account..... But for over 4 months the wallet is having issues... Why not focus on the wallet first before moving on?? This wallet issue has to be fixed now this is becoming a joke.....
yup and they work on it every day maybe your account should "chill" its hard to keep something running smooth when you change almost everything in it. I think most people here can appreciate it's a work in progress. and that lots is being done non stop to fix the big holes in day to day operations while looking forward to the far reaching goals of the project and progress towards them. bitcreditscc dev is here posting answers and solutions responsively every day 10 times a day while adding and fixing code. look at the last 3 weeks, 2 hardforks. anyone invested in this project is paying close attention because things are changing and people are required to make changes frequently. though hopefully that will settle down soon. |
$MAID & $BTC other than that some short hodls and some long held garbage.

I understand people's frustration, it's got me too. Already we've resolved that updates should be less frequent and are set to test the effectiveness of our voting system on that. Truth about development is like iron, strike it while it's hot. If new developments and ideas come to a halt, the project will die a miserable death. |

We need to re-design the Qt. 8 Categories, with tabs 1) Overview + basic stats are what the user first sees, 2) Wallet , tabs here are send/receive and history and Assets Page (for colored coins and contracts) 3) Communication :- mesages and irc 4) Network status : Banknodes , stats engine , etc 5) Utilities :- block browser (gonna expand this one) , mining etc + (minimal highly pruned decentralized forum) 6) Crytpo 3.0 :- bidding , ratings , voting etc 7) Open slot for on chain exchange + banking +bn hosting stuff  Help/options / dev contact details Thoughts ? |

I don't see a need for an irc. A one to one chat with balloons UI like mobile texts is what the general population is more used to. could be used for support or something like that. but I doubt group chatrooms would ever used. design wise: I don't have the wallet running right now but I liked the previous one where it had no border around the qt.. it felt more modern and minimalistic - the trend right with all apps specially those from microsoft. Would love to see corporate looking color scheme with not so many warm colors. Corporate i mean in the sense of the banking niche formal design cues not their crooked ways of course. |
