We need to re-design the Qt.

8 Categories, with tabs

1) Overview + basic stats are what the user first sees,
2) Wallet , tabs here are send/receive and history and Assets Page (for colored coins and contracts)
3) Communication :- mesages and irc
4) Network status : Banknodes , stats engine , etc
5) Utilities :- block browser (gonna expand this one) , mining etc + (minimal highly pruned decentralized forum)
6) Crytpo 3.0  :- bidding , ratings , voting etc
7) Open slot for on chain exchange + banking +bn hosting stuff
Cool Help/options / dev contact details

 Thoughts ?
I like the idea of redesigning the Qt. Good points given! Perhaps something like a statistics bar the SPR (SpreadCoin) wallet has? (Very small picture: http://spreadcoin.info/pics/new_wallet_01.jpg)

And what about combining the 'connections' and 'progress' information into the wallet instead of having them float next to the wallet. Why is that done anyway, that's just weird! Tongue

WHY NO ONE UPDATING BITTREX???
i can't transfer, so can't mine...
the old chain was dumped out before it was updated... i am guessing half of the coins on bittrex are from other (split) chain, AND NOT EXIST ON your CHAIN...
if the exchange can't sell, or buy on right chain... THEN WHERE IS REAL VALUE???
they already transfer out my coin, but transaction not show, and they wait for wallet update to fix???!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

this very unprofessional!~!
you can't force wallet update and not inform exchange... if they decide not to update, i just need to mine on whatever wallet/chain they are on....
how do you think right after the last forced update someone dumped the price to nothing... they stayed on the chain the ONLY EXCHANGE is on and mined more, and dumped....

damn, i wish i had thought of it...lol

If you have a problem, maybe it's best you ask politely. Your assumptions are so way off base it's nearly funny. I long spoke with a bittrex rep, so your tirade is rather meaningless.

The market is disabled for sending and receiving, has been for a while, pray tell how you intend to mine and get around that? Unprofessional? Wow.

If i didn't know better, i'd say you are trolling.

I don't see a need for an irc. A one to one chat with balloons UI like mobile texts is what the general population is more used to. could be used for support or something like that. but I doubt group chatrooms would ever used.

design wise: I don't have the wallet running right now but I liked the previous one where it had no border around the qt.. it felt more modern and minimalistic - the trend right with all apps specially those from microsoft. Would love to see corporate looking color scheme with not so many warm colors. Corporate i mean in the sense of the banking niche formal design cues not their crooked ways of course.

Agreed on the IRC thing, I'd prefer the BCR app to be as lean as possible. If it got ditched would anyone miss it?

I added a border to the main window because I hated not having one  Tongue  - but I could make it a .conf option?

Are Bank Nodes only receiving 6 coins now?

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

Still works without problem, setgenerate true "number of cores",  I guess that miningkeys.dat and bnminingkey= in conf is needed.

in the same folder as you config files you need to create a text document and put the address of an input you control with over 50k coins and rename the text file to "miningkeys.dat" if you have 50k you might as well make a banknode too.

*edit to add:
I was going to start writing some stuff up but I can't figure out voting,
looks like vanity gen has been added what are the commands?
Quote
GRANTPREFIX="6BCR";
numberOfOffices = 5
string electedOffices[6];
//= {"cdo","cto","cso","bnk","nsr",cmo, "XFT"};
How many offices are there?? it says number of offices 5, elected offices 6, and has 7 abbreviations.

what do these stand for.?
cdo = Chief Development Officer
cto = Chief Technology Officer
cso = Chief Security Officer
bnk=?
nsr=?
cmo = Chief Marketing Officer
XFT=?

These 6 offices split the 3.6(2x1.Cool BCR created each block?

Can we interpret the ratings>grantdb.dat ? seems like a lot of high values but the ones related to 6BCR are not followed by any of these: "cdo","cto","cso","bnk","nsr",cmo, "XFT"

I assume we should be able to vanitygen a 6BCRcmo address if we were running for Chief marketing officer, and if people sent us BCR into that address it counts toward being voted into that office? or do votes need to come from banknodes. in that case is it a standard message? or coins come from banknode? If i controll the address and i spend the BCR will I lose the office? What happens if I use the vote address to setup a banknode and send it 50k BCR?

(a small sampling of my questions)

*edit to add, i got forked again. but synced thx to bootstrap

*edit to add payment block failed again Sad

got this code now.
bitc. you have done lot of work not needed.
there was far more way easy road to a solution.
this one will have problems normal miner/ node miner thing..
also your current goal adds a safe problem related to the chain.

minor thing.. no worry

6minor thing.. no worry

you are complaining and offering nothing. i numbered your lines to reply to them.
1 glad you got the code
2 work was done and not needed in reference to what code specifically, banking?voting?mining?all?something else?
3 its nice you see an easier solution, care to elaborate?
4 since this will have problems according to you, feel free to write up some suggestions or use github to push down some changes to review?
5 which goals are you uncomfortable with? and how will their implementation cause trouble for the chain?

6 you say its minor and no worries but you are hinting at SERIOUS ISSUES with the current code and the coins future development that seem for you to be obvious, and quick fixes. meanwhile no one else has noticed. Please take the time to construct a useful reply so we can share your point of view then bitcreditscc + the other people working on the code can possibly do something about it.

bitcredits (should)have the skills to work this out by him self.
im only posting what i see, because this was a source candinate to my swap.( i looked deeper into source)
he will not need any git pulls, he can do it as he reads issues here.
as i said earier, i will not give the answer to any problem, he knows why.
there is all info given to him so that he can fix it.
i guess he will fix it.

ps. why would i work for free? i have not a single coin here.
but i want to see how this goes on..
maybe someday this coin will be ready and big.
