or is that pegging their rig pricing on BTC rather than US $ They price in USD. You can see the BTC amount vary over time with the USD amount staying the same (except for when they adjust that because reasons). While the final price is in USD, they also consider BTC ROI in coming up with the USD price.

I've received a few PM's regarding my coupon. At this time I am slightly more interested in acquiring additional coupons but if I don't get any takers I will get rid of mine before it expires.

Yeah I ordered last week too, at the higher price. They did however, send me a coupon (for S5, spend before 3.25.15 , lol). I'm not complaining, better to have a coupon than no coupon, but I kinda wish they had let us know what the deal was with coupons this time around (batch).

March 30th batch has extremely limited quantity left that is why the Coupon Validity is only until March 25th. After this batch is sold out, the next available S5 be in June of 2015. Bitmain need to develop into other algos besides SHA should of continued the adventure with your scrypt miners and then worked on newer algos. Wish prices where good for me on energy as I would be looking into the newer amtminers shame cost to equipment to energy used and shipping tax would never brake even. Does Bitmain have any other distributors across the world or it just subject to one site and no more resellers etc?

You can always buy in large bulk and resell them, however, due to the volatile hardware price and BTC price, higher risk of sustaining the loss if you can't clear the in-hand stock fast enough...
so far, no new Algo. S5 will be the primary miner still in June of this year.

Well I might consider buying but sill looking into the loud optinos you now. Is the contracts or hash lifetime until one sells it on in house exchange or is it limited time contracts or good to go. As if I buy equipment then the only problems I have is 1 cos 2 shipping 3 import tax and 4 energy used and going of today's figures would be bare almost imposable brake even or cover costs.

Hashnest hashing power is based on the hardware specific, so when the hardware you select is not good enough to mine, then it will be turned off. So it is not a lifetime contract.

So what happens if you buy x amount of hash on this and then it gets turned off and you are say 30% of what you put into it will your hash get migrated over to new hash as it comes out or is that hash and contract then lost? I am interested in buying however I want to make sure I understand everything first before buying and then finding I done something wrong. Want to make sure I know what is what and then can make right choices on buying etc.

There is no migration of the hash power. It is no different than having the hardware and hashing on your own. Electricity at Hashnest is $0.097/kwh, so it can be cheaper for many who lives at more expensive electricity cost area. Hashnest hashing power is based on the hardware specific, so when the hardware you select is not good enough to mine, then it will be turned off. So it is not a lifetime contract.

Dogie, I read your setup page of the S5 and this is a quote from that setup guide:
"What temperatures should I aim for? - Try and achieve <50 for best hash rates, and <60 for long lifetimes. Temperatures should not be let to rise above 80C."
This confuses me. Even the stock fan at pretty low ambient temps can't keep the S5 less than 50c. How would one even obtain <50c? Then I saw in another post you wrote that running the S5 24/7 at 65c is just fine and would be no problem. Can we get a confirmation from BitmainWarranty on the optimal running temps of the S5? There must be three temp sensors onboard, since CryptoGlance reports three different temp readings. I just want to make sure we all know the operating range of temps of this unit when so many have been reported.
Thanks!
The 50C is really more of a "if you can get to here, great", but I accept that its unrealistic for 90% of people. You get <50 by adding an S3 fan on the end. The optimal running temp is simply anything less than too hot, which is 75-80C. Add in a safety factor (on top of the 80C's one) and you hit 65-70.

Why bother investing into something like Scrypt though? Often to more profitable shit coins are only good for a week at best then die off with a new algo. I did alright with Scrypt for several months, but the profits have dropped off a lot. Mining Bitcoin is still better when you find a good deal on gear.

And mining bitcoins instead of whatever else pump-and-dump is much less likely to be profiting by ripping off n00bs. You know, if you have a conscience.

@bond007taz We are very sorry for your inconvenience. Staffs are working 24/7 to clear these stuck orders while under the heavy Ddos attack. The attack has nothing to do with the actual transactional data. Your order will be manually confirmed in order it was received, However, please be patient with us for a bit longer. We do expect this attack to last for a few more days. It may show as Expired or Unpaid. If it is showing PAID on the blockchain.info you are GOOD TO GO!! Just shoot us an email to info@bitmaintech.com with your ORDER ID & Payment Address and you will be contacted in the next few days. (Also it is a late night weekend in Beijing at the moment) The miner shipping will start as schedule on March 30th or sooner. Currently, the site is back up & running again just now! I am concerned that bitmain has my coin but havent responded with a confirmation that I paid (even though my payment shows it went in 5 minutes after I ordered it) - does this mean they are going to take my money and not give me the product I ordered?
I keep sending emails to info@bitmaintech.com and they said they need engineers to fix the issue but they haven't said my order is confirmed
