This is my running temps my room it 85f as of this writing. Just add a shroud between the case and the original S5 fan and it will reduce the noise and the temps as well.

It's a stripped screw and I don't want to damage it. I was able to move the PCB and check both boards individually. I have a dead board, and 1 chip dead on the other board. It also isn't hashing. This is not a good day. 10 miners and this is the first miner to do this. ARGGGGGG. What are the next steps? Do you know if it's still in warranty? Did you buy direct from Bitmain? Next step you will need to contact Bitmain Warranty. They will have to help as far as parts. Below is the ways to contact them: There is webpage: https://bitmain.zendesk.com/hc/en-usSkype: BitmainEnglish And email: support@bitmain.zendesk.com Just over a month old. Straight Bitmain. I'll go to the site now. Thats good news mean still in warranty. They have some great support I'm sure will take care of you. Any ideas or trick to remove stripped screws? Of course the last screw has to be the stripped one.

They do sell tools to get out stripped screws at hardware stores, but you would want to be careful. And it also destroys the screw where you would need a replacement.

Wonder if they're getting any returns having the stripped screw hold drilled thru and 4-40, washers and nuts in that hole.

It's hard to tell. I for one would be a little scared to drill out the stripped screw. If you feel confident you can drill the screw out there are definitely a lot of tools to help. I don't know if I would do it myself on a miner.

Of course the last screw has to be the stripped one. get tap and die kit . those kits remove screws but like some one said it destroys the screw and you may need to re tap the hole to a bigger screw depends on how care full you are when you remove it and how bad it was striped in the hole .At least that was what it was called a long a time ago it may have another name now . i haven't used a kit in a few years .

Got a Dremel Use the disc grinding wheel & make it a slotted screw Use a magnet to catch filings

Still called that https://www.google.com/search?q=utap+and+die&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8#q=tap+and+die&tbm=shop&spd=9159669330166312474 cya.

Greetings Willi
Borrowed this one from Dogie - Use a paperclip to press the reset button - located next to the ethernet connector - down for 5-10 seconds. The miner will then reset with stock settings. Also some light reading https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=910967
