I am sorry, this question seemed rather rhethorical.

Of course, no. 'Premine' is a technical term concerning the currency architecture. We work on a higher level of abstraction and concentrate on the economic part of cryptocurrencies application. We are grateful to the CryptoNote developers for their work on the whole low-level section and their permission for us to use it.

whats "CryptoNight"

CryptoNight is a proof-of-work algorithm that mixes GPU and CPU mining to create a system resistant to both ASICs (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) and fast memory-on-chip devices. This is designed with the intention of creating a more even distribution of coins through the currency's life. However, there are some questions about its susceptibility to botnets.

The algorithm includes:

Keccak sponge construction;
Scrypt-like 2MB scratchpad with random look-ups (read/write);
64-bit multiplications;
AES encryptions
Hash functions BLAKE, Grøstl, JH, Skein

Concerning new feature, technically it is a CryptoNote currency, so if you compare it with other CryptoNote currencies, you will not find any technical changes. The feature of Cryptonote currencies as a class is the egalitarian mining (equally mined using CPU and GPU); complete anonymity of transactions, of course.

One might call the Idea governing this currency a new feature.
