I don't think that's what the Dev is doing, not enough volume on the one exchange GEO is on.  But we do need the Dev to give the community some update, thats the only way to build support, which in tern get a coin listed on the more major exchanges.

still nothing?  Dev not logged in for over 3 days.  I really like the idea of this coin, but until I see some signs of life from the Dev I have to take my rig off this coin.  I am going to hold what I have been able to mine in hopes we see some progress on it, or at least until the Dev can give more info on what is planned and show some execution.   Good luck all

So I guess no dev present  Angry Makes me furious because I really liked the idea. I put my time and energy into mining this coin for a week, I can't do it any longer. Anyways for miners there is another fair one I found that looks good and fair:

Jesus Christ, you people need to calm and let the dev do what he has to do. Development takes time and keeping greedy miners and bag holders up to date on everytime he takes a crap or writes a line of code is not going to help things get done any faster.

All miners should be considered investors. Mining is not free and also helps support the network. People who buy on exchange are also investors of course. A dev should always keep people up to date. Considering the dev made an update saying that he or they are working on something which would be a reason for not replying would be fine. Communication is key to investors, not only in the crypto world but with every company. All updates should have deadlines as with any company. Deadlines if not met should be updated and information passed to investors and customers. This is standard, no excuses. I have not invested a dime into this coin, so I have no bias. I am just someone who works in the GEO field and wants the best out of this but has noticed a down trend.

Couldn't have said it better myself.  I do hope the Dev shows up and gives some good news.  I also like the idea behind this coin.

Undecided Erm i hope i am very wrong about what im going to say but here goes.

Opened GeoWallet and watched the outgoing connections on my firewall and the wallet connected to this address

fr-db2.suprnova.cc:9748

after taking off the port you get taken to supernova's waring site about the virus scam coin.

https://fr-db2.suprnova.cc/

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=831900.0

Could someone please check this information for us or is it just a coincidence ?

I've checked the wallet and ran it through multiple virus scans and I don't find anything suspicious.

On the positive side of things, GEO is 2 votes away from top spot on c-cex voting. If you haven't voted yet, please do and we might be added to a larger exchange in less than 2 days. Next winner is in 1 day 14 hours --> https://c-cex.com/?id=vote

cheers

This project looked good but... ran by some incompetent dev who only had dreams in his head.

Is this just going to be a massive dump once it gets on c-cex?

It is one of the main exchanges for a dump and has a long running history of it.

Why is it set as an outbound connection through the QT?

I like your support for cryptocoin mining. You might be the best pool operator in the whole wide world.
