Good one, showing more then an extensive tutorial would do.
But who reads manuals anyway, when he's got new stuff to play with Smiley

This thing is a good excuse/motivator for exercise.

You drop some coins somewhere you said you would go, but don't, because you're too lazy. And then you're compelled to go. The time is ticking...either you get them or someone else might.

Hi devs -

I just put up 100 in my area, and posted to friends - HOWEVER on the mobile app I am unable to find the 'Geocollect' toggle.  The 'drop / balance' box is quite large as well and takes up a ton of room.  Android phone.

Take a look at the price...

20-25k since one week and on the day of the release, it got dumped to 17k in few hours.
Hope that's not the premine stack which had been sold... Roll Eyes

+ the map isn't working.

I should have not invest. Cry

It seems we have chief FUDder found here.
Being an user since 2013 you have to know that price fluctuation is something normal in cryptoworld, don't you see what happens with DASH price?!
Before talking about premine you had to read OP first, premined coins are just 35k wich isn't enough to dump already. And of course you had to check the address where premined coins are, it is posted in the OP too.
And at the end we are very pleased that you decide to inform us you will not invest. Really?! Do you promise?! I can't belive that's true!  Grin

I had some issues at first with my tiny Galaxy display. Right after you click 'geocach' you should be able to scroll down to the toggle. If you are in the map and all the coins have already appeared it may be difficult to get to it.
This thing works perfectly btw, I dropped a coin on my small 10x16 deck and my phone found the coin the second I walked out the door onto the deck.
Pretty cool stuff.

I feel so good about GEO, the more people dump I get happier. Best for the coins to be in strong hands anyways. For the first time I am able to watch people sell crypto and not feel worried in any way. Support pops back in and once the dumping is over we go the other way Smiley  Remember mining rewards only go down from here so it will be harder and harder to get GEO and I can only see more buy support coming as there is more interest in geocoins.

I don't even need to look because I know Tobler has absolutely 0 intentions of selling his premine before we go mainstream (dont even know if he would do it then Grin) but here is the address for anyone who needs to check: http://104.236.52.122:8331/address/GQG8W8MnW9sKkcqesmjdQFmJ8NqxvVj95Q

Selling now is really dumb and I am happy to stock up more geocoins. Just think about the geominer and the next steps for GEO. A lot of opportunities will be opened up now. We have a long ways to go but top 10 coin is very reasonable to see on the horizon already.

I have idea for Geo Cheesy what do you think about random chests, where we can find 1-200 Geo. Only owner (parent) of chest know how many it have, because it lose it from balance but we havnt information about amount on map Cheesy

Thanks for beta testing chesthing & bobcaticus. It'd be great to hear your input in our slack group. The geocashing GUI is undergoing some improvements as we work through beta and the geocollecting toggle is on the list. I just checked the wallet and there are tons of beta testers with GEO dropped all over the world Smiley

I just tested the geolocalisation . Its works really really really well.

A bit sad that lot of people dumped their coin in the market whereas all work well.

Thank for your work.

This is awesome! Just dropped a few geocoins around my work area. Created a new account on my mobile device. On my lunch I walked around and pick all the geocoins up! This is the real deal.

Few minor comments
1) Maybe add a radius around the coin or a proximity to know when you are about to collect it.
2) Better mobile phone support. On my Android the "Geocollect" button is hard to scroll down to because of the map scroll view.
3) With that being said, this is a GREAT beta release.
4) Fuck Yea
5) Ignore all naysayers and fudders, they just want cheap coins
6) i'm buying more Smiley
