Block reward recently reduced. GEO will be harder and harder to get as time goes on.

@Tobler, I'm so excited for the geocaching app! Once proven to the public that this concept works there is no going back. Now is the time to get in

I have a travel site with almost 100,000 fans, I could see how something like this could really bring a new element of adventure to travel!
Going to have to get around to mining some eventually and try it out with the fans
That is great news. That could ignite something big for Geocoin. Perhaps Tobler will want to run some sort of promotion where your users get a few GEO to try it out and play with it. What is your travel website? I am down for that, I just need to see how easy it would be for a novice user to implement Ideally an android app they could use while they travel to the destination would be ideal Honestly I haven't had a chance to mine this one and play with it yet, but it looks very promising from what I see so far Hope to get to it in the next week

Now, where are we on the roadmap ? What's the last step which has been succeeded ?
Dev said on Feb 22 they would release geocaching in a month, so we are only like a week away Okay, good. What about this ? When I open the wallet on Windows I got a message from my antivirus, it puts the wallet in quarantine and I can't open it. Is it normal ? I think I saw some people saying kaspersky thinks something in the wallet is a virus. I'm sure it's a false positive. I hope you can open your wallet again. I'm not using Kasperky... When the problem comes frow ONE antivirus, I can understand that it can be an error, but when it comes from TWO different ones, I'm a bit sceptic...

But dont you think a thread with 48 pages is proof enough that there isnt a virus in the wallet? If there was a virus in the wallet, people would scream it all over the place

I can tell you for sure Poloniex did a thorough code check before listing. Poloniex only adds quality coins.

I have an idea. Could you use google earth flight simulator to collect geocoins since they would have a coordinate on the earth? Like see this guy flying around in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSHBvsrpTpELike a side video game project for geocoin. Fly through the grand canyon collecting coins. If you crash you lose coins.

This could be quite fun Digital Geocaching Implementation: An online web interface where geocoins can be dragged and dropped onto a map. When a different user visits that location (coordinate), they receive the geocoins. Geodashing is an outdoor sport in which teams of players use GPS receivers to find geopoints around the world. The objective is to visit as many geopoints as possible and receive geocoins for it. There are quite a few fun ideas surrounding this initiative. http://www.markwell.us/2daycacher.htmMaybe they would like to do geodashching with Geo, but they dont know it yet http://forums.gps.org.nz/viewforum.php?f=4

Current Difficulty 151.82494434 And the price is rising There is only 826k GEO now ! The mining with tiny block reward. I'm expecting the normal price in several times higher than it is now. i feel happy that i found Geo. It's a goldmine.

This shop's got nothing to do with this project. It's about geocaching as it is today with no links to the digital currency GEO. The price increase is something that I relate to the sentence: buy at rumor, sell at release.

That's almost unpredictable, but it's the technology behind it that makes it very interesting for me. I even spend a long time following this coin, without having any. With Tobler's and Shkembe's donation to me, that changed.
