In anticipation for the upcoming swap we encourage our users to start migrating their GEO balances over to a Bittrex account.  Once we have a confirmed date of the swap I'll make sure to post the full details here.

I have my coins on cryptopia. It's fine to have them there, right?

I believe cryptopia should be able to help with the swap as well, but I will confirm once we have all the full details coordinated.

If that doesn't sync after adding those nodes you can always try deleting the blockchain data and re-syncing from the beginning. Restarting the wallet sometimes helps. Those are common fixes for any blockchain.

There is also a bootstrap file here http://cryptochainer.com/dir/?page_id=881 that might work, I never tried it before.

Sounds like you need to add a node, try the following steps.

1. Open Wallet, go to Help > Debug Window.
2. Click on the 2nd tab called Console.
3. addnode 46.105.118.15:9748 add [press ENTER]

That should hopefully add the node and kickstart the sync
