Hey is the search for Geocoins meant to be fun or could it also be used by merchants to attract customers by placing Geocoins in their stores?

Hello, as far as I understand main point is collecting for fun, but merchants can place Geo's on the map in the store to in fact attract potential customers; you can preview the map with already "dropped" coins - https://geocoin.cash/. In near future Geo's turning from a coin to a Ubiq token which also changes inflation - mining is over and new Geos will likely be randomly spawned on the map or some PoS mechanism will be put in place, devs did not inform yet on exact details. |

Hello, as far as I understand main point is collecting for fun, but merchants can place Geo's on the map in the store to in fact attract potential customers; you can preview the map with already "dropped" coins - https://geocoin.cash/. In near future Geo's turning from a coin to a Ubiq token which also changes inflation - mining is over and new Geos will likely be randomly spawned on the map or some PoS mechanism will be put in place, devs did not inform yet on exact details. We are currently in discussion with the UBQ devs and the Bittrex Support staff in regards to the upcoming swap. We are aiming for a simple 1:1 swap to keep all the GEO balances equivalent. Once the swap occurs we are thinking of reducing the inflation rate, and having the GEO minted at a set interval. These minted GEO will then be dropped onto the map and available to collect via Proof of Location (PoL). This should be beneficial to GEO and the price as the supply will not be hyper inflated or diluted in any way. I hope that helps clear some things up, I will make sure to post here when we have more details confirmed. |

 These are the last days of geo, I'm draining it. It was my mistake I slept when the bot purchased this shit I lost 70% of the deposit. Thanks for the scum! Doing a swap for 4 months is... I worry about later stages of this project. For past 3 months we've been buying everything that other people are transfering to the exchange... just since september bittrex Geo account increased by 170k coins and price suffered the most. We're just laying out the specs and details of the swap and will confirm a date shortly. We encourage users to start migrating their balances over to Bittrex in preparation for the upcoming swap.
Can you give us an aprox. date of the upcoming swap?
I've contacted Bittrex support regarding our swap and will let you know their response and the approximate date for the swap once confirmed. Ideally we'll have roughly 1 month from now to migrate balances over to Bittrex in preparation.
