Hey NutMaster, thank you, but I think greatest thanks go to the developers for this success. Considering how much is already done and that anyone will be able to try final product within weeks does leave a lot of space for future growth; it's surprising how this project is still not even within first 100 or even 200 of crypto.

I did let few new people in, but Geo has too much potential, even short term, to let go off it.

Great to see some coins that have been around a few years still going strong with a good future ahead, I picked up a couple hundred on the dip about 40% under the 24 hour high as I can see potential and may purchase a few more if it goes lower before the swap. Good luck to the devs and the future of GEO.

Not really surprised to be honest. Some people were buying something that went x10 in 2-3 days, fear is strong in crypto and weak hands among new comers.

Will cryptopia support the swap? Or will it be possible to manual change it?

As i said, bittrex does not accept new accounts atm.

We are currently working with Cryptopia and hope that they will be of assistance for the upgrade as well.  We will also be setting up a manual request form for those stragglers who miss the upgrade date.

Please, please, extend the period of time for this swap. Let us to withdraw our GEO from Polo. I have almost 3K GEO in Polo and I am just able to withdraw about 108 per day it depends the day price of GEO and BTC.

Please, please Help us. Is there another crypto wallet which we can storage our GEO. I do not really to have them in a computer wallet.

Swap was anticipated since August and announced since then, there were also numerous posts/announcements about the requirements regarding it.

In addition, in Weifa's post that you quoted, there is option for manual swap. Therefore your best option is to keep withdrawing 50/100 coins per day and contact developers for the manual swap once it's announced and ready for use.

I agree with YoggYogg, we cannot make any changes to the swap dates.  Your best bet is to withdraw your coins from Polo as soon as you can.

I am holding geo coins in geo desktop wallet - GeoCoin version v0.8.7.0-beta.

But it is showing out of sync - No block source available - 17 weeks behind.

Please advise how to resolve this and also i understand geo coin is migrating to new tech, please advise how to participate in this migration and get the new geo coins.

Do i need to move the geo coins to bittrex exchange ?

You need to add some nodes using the debug window console.  Run these commands one at a time.

Once your wallet has downloaded the remainder of the blockchain and is up-to-date, you should migrate your balance over to Bittrex in preparation for the upcoming blockchain upgrade.

Hey,

Geo will be undergoing a swap to the Ubiq network on the 25th of January (this means that you will be issued new Geos in form of a 'Geo token' belonging to Ubiq network). As of now only Bittrex's wallets are confirmed to handle the swap, althought hold on as cryptopia might be supporting the swap as well - Weifa, should confirm this in coming days. Swap is very benefitial to Geo as currently it relies on it's own less secure blockchain (lower "mining power" comparing to Ubiq's) and will possibly allow easier integration of the coming Geo app based on "MapBox" interface.

Also there will be option to do the manual swap with the developers after the 25th in case cryptopia won't support the swap and you will be unable to create account on bittrex - althought I highly doubt that cryptopia would not support it.

If you have a Bittrex account already, we recommend users migrate their balances over well before the January 25th date.  Since Bittrex is not allowing for new user registrations anymore, we are also planning to have a manual swap claim form setup for people using the GeoCoin desktop wallet.

We're currently in discussions with Cryptopia regarding our upcoming swap and I'm hopeful that they will also be supportive of the blockchain upgrade.  That being said, they are not yet 100% confirmed for us, so if you have a Bittrex account there is the option to migrate your balances there in preparation.  You can decide what you feel most comfortable with.  If we do get a confirmation of Cryptopia's support of the blockchain upgrade, I'll be sure to post it on here.
