Can anybody explain me what's the point and the usefulness of geo coin? I still don't understand... Just picking up geo coins on location and that's all? And the second question, what is the maximum coin supply?

The goal of GeoCoin is to bring GIS & GeoTechnologies to the blockchain.  The applications for dropping coins in locations are essentially endless depending on the person who is dropping them.  They can be used for things like scavenger hunts, tourism, events, business promotions and more.

Please move out of Cryptopia, they are killing the coin. This is a fantastic concept, and I believe this coin to be one of the most sought after coins. But if you keep waiting for Cryptopia to begin trading.. it will be foolish. People wont wait, they all will look away and start investing in other coins, and will forget what you have created. All the years of work will be lost.
Please apply with other exchanges. Please resist YoBit and HltBtc both have been having tons of problems.
Cryptopia was about to kill PAC as well, but they moved over to yoBit, and lots of folks moved their coins out from cryptopia to ybt.
Pls move to an exchange where sign up is easier.

Never will i take my money to fucktopia.

Also, I have GeoCoins I brought from Cryptopia using LTC. Other exchanges such as CoinMarket is mostly down.
As you suggested to open an account with Bittrex, but it looks like Bittrex is not accepting new users atm. And it might be for a long time.
We could transfer the coins from fucktopia (cryptopia), but the transfer should be done at LTC level. Can you pls guide us on how we can go from here.

GEO markets are currently available on Bittrex, Cryptopia and YoBit, we have been on these exchanges for multiple years now so I'm not sure what you're refering to them being down.  If you dislike these exchanges, feel free to transfer your balance out of their exchanges into the GEO desktop wallet available here: http://geo.money#Downloads.  We are planning a manual swap claim form for users who have balances in the GEO desktop wallet at the time of the blockchain upgrade.  You'll need to be able to Sign a Message to verify ownership of the wallet.

Yes that is correct, we are currently under development so you will need to wait until after the blockchain upgrade has taken place before you can attempt to collect GEO from the map.

Welcome onboard mate. Nice buys, I think the rise is inevitable before the swap, but Geo will probably surprise us the most during the application release. So stoked, can't wait.

Any ideas, guys, why coinmarketcap and worldcoinindex show different market cap for Geo?

It's about $10.7mln on worldcoinindex  and $26.6mln on coinmarketcap (when the price is about $7.9)

There's a difference in Circulating Supply on these sites.

If you check explorer it says "Outstanding: 3,380,746 GEO" - https://chainz.cryptoid.info/geo/

Therefore coinmarketcap number seems more accurate, but during swap wallets that are not located on bittrex/cryptopia (cryptopia to be confirmed) will not be included therefore new blockchain is likely to consist of lower number of coins/tokens. Although it may change as developers announced plans to allow manual swaps past the official swap date which could result in supply spikes in the future (should not be too significant as only about 1m coins are not on exchanges at this time).
