I think this is just the beginning IMO.

Whats your forecast?

Imo it really depends. Short term we could see 30$, mid-long term maybe even 100$. In general I think it's very undervalued project, but who knows... if crypto goes wild (2trillion$ cap on all coins/tokens) we may see things no one expected... if crypto goes to shit we may be just playing 'crypto pokemon go' by ourselves and visit each other to drop coins Wink

As an enthusiast I don't intend on selling/dumping therefore I don't look at price as much, I could sell 50-100 coins at 30$ each and go on nice holidays, but I am not as much after price in short term.

ps. don't get me wrong, I enjoy positive price movements and I do get scared when I see people dumping, but at same time I feel this project has great fundamentals.

Growth in a bear market is a great thing, a lot of people are noticing GEO on Bittrex as one of the highest gainers of the last 24 hours. So I mean as long as BTC doesn't really start to go to shit like dropping under $8k I think this trend will continue for a few days, by tomorrow we could see a new floor over 100k sat if the 24h volume keeps building and that isn't hard as it isn't even a few hundred BTC yet. I am going to hold long term as well though, find it very difficult to call short-term price swings but I think it will be much higher than this in a few years.

Everyone already dumped their GEO over the last few days, the sellers seem to be out but who knows really.

I totally agree about growth in bear market, it is looking great indeed. For Btc it gets little tricky, I could totally see it reach 8k$, but question is will it stay there or rebounce like back in September after China announced it's crypto exchange ban. Something tells me crypto is not over, I personally know many people who didn't invest in crypto in 2017 and are just waiting for the time to get onboard... funny how they only see the Btc price tag as the time to enter Wink)

Looks like devs picked a real good time for the swap. It might actually save geo and bring the value much higher while everything falls go geo! Cool Cool nobody left to sell as everyone sold days ago  Grin

I've just sent a tweet out to YoBit as they have not responded to my recent support ticket.  We'll see if we hear back, but we recommend users start migrating their balances over to Bittrex or Cryptopia to avoid the risk of missing the swap.  Please like and retweet to get more attention from YoBit  Smiley

Is Cryptopia participating in the swap? Please clarify that for us.

Thanks you so much.

Crypto traders who panic, I think a dump might occur now but I am going to hold long term and see what happens. I would expect to see a spike over the next week though but by then how knows how badly all the markets could have gone to shit..

The last I have heard from the Cryptopia devs they're trying to get it arranged, so I believe they will be in support.  We've proven our ability to handle late swaps as we plan to have a manual claim form setup after the blockchain upgrade takes place for people who can Sign a Message to prove their ownership of a wallet address in the GEO desktop wallet.

Thanks for your answer. Another big problem is Poloniex. I have almost 3K GEO in Poloniex and this exchanges does not let me move them out and even Poloniex has not let me withdraw any GEO.

But in order to be able to do a manual claim our coins must first be in our desktop wallet and not on Cryptopia.

So I wonder if I should leave them there or pull them into my desktop wallet as wouldn't be able to prove the ownership of the coins while they are on Cryptopia.

You can decide which option you are most comfortable with to store your GEO balances.  The advantage of the GEO Desktop wallet is you control the private keys to the wallet address which proves you own them.  You will have to Sign a Message and submit the entries to prove said ownership.

I'm sorry to hear you still have GEO stuck on Poloniex.  Poloniex didn't even respond to a single message from Tobler or I when they decided to delist GEO over 1 year ago.

Hey Weifa, don't mean to bother you too much, but I thought video was coming pre-swap to explain it's characteristics and future plans. As we get closer to the swap I start to wonder if that's still the plan? Thanks in advance Smiley
