A lot happens on twitter. We have to spread the word. It's long term minning without rentals, so fair for everyone. Kiss

Right. I watched the rich list, the coin is very nicely distributed. I'm hoping we will have true holders.

Still waiting for the official identifiers from the dev since i would rather have 1 p2pool running under a single id than 2.

However that being said, i will release my version: https://mega.co.nz/#!FNcz0SRR!HZPcloUyZKnVlBWTSmOQRjtotyQq2Y1ZwH0p7koA4Qw

This p2pool is based upon https://github.com/metalicjames/p2pool-Lyra2RE p2pool. It has the settings for Lyrabar with a custom identifier set.

Since this thread is self moderated if the dev does not wish this version to exist then he/she may delete it at any time. I am using a non-official p2pool identifier for this network/coin, you will be paid as with a normal P2Pool however if the dev releases the official p2pool then you must use that to be part of that p2pool/share correct shares. I offer no support/warranty of any kind with this, if you know what you're doing with setting up p2pools then you will have zero issues.

However you will need the lyra2re python module for this p2pool, it is not included. You will need to build it in the usual way.

One issue i have noticed is that the block number for found blocks in the web interface is reporting the wrong block number, i do not know how/why this is happening. It does not affect the operation of the pool or payout.

2 blocks my p2pool found to prove it does work:
http://bitexp.net/block.php?coin=Lyrabar&hash=c2ae0638c9cdb35fa538a7399843857e7c327def1d91c9810049a2f02548520c

The dev has my permission to use this officially if he/she wants. All the best.

Would anyone like a sub-forum on "thisisvtc.com" for lyrabar discussions?

As the dev has stated that this coin will become a merge mineable coin after 0.9.0.2 release and vertcoin has now been released on 0.9.0.2 this is surely in the pipeline so makes sense?

I have had my computer in pieces now for couple of days, waiting for new parts, when I get access to my wallet I'll tip you for good work.

Also Mac wallet is out soon, at last I got a platform to compile the wallet on, so hard to find Mac users around to get a machine for that use.

I like contributors, we may use your networks.py, my installation wasn't included in my backups because I had it installed for a very short time when I built up the official pool, and did a cleanup after release.
I believe your pool works like it should, I update the first post with the links

A sub-forum is ok if the creator have time or some other person have time to keep it updated.

The merge mining is in the roadmap for sure, but later

Moved my P2Pool to a dedicated host instead of my own home network: http://178.62.42.146:4047/static/

It already found a block, feel free to use.

I'm excited about this coin. I just saw the hashpower go from 85mh to 230mh from last night to today!

I think people are starting to find out about this one, as it is just like Vertcoin.

This is unheard of for this coin, but there has been an increase of 600+ mh from a 2 day ago average of 100-150mh!

diff is also reaching higher, almost up to 8 now...

If anyone else wants to join in mining, I would suggest balancing out the hash by going to the official pool instead of suprnova, at http://lyrabarpool.duckdns.org/

Don't forget the P2Pool is up and running and working fine, it's found 4 blocks with just me solo mining on it, no one else wanted to join the P2Party...
