Quick update for those of you that have open tickets on btcpool.exchange. I think we've worked out a good solution, which excites me for the future on the partnership between btcpool and GorillaStake

Fairly soon, a new exchange will be launching, GorillaEx, which I talked a bit about earlier, but will give more details of shortly. It will be run by those operating btcpool currently, which is why things have been a bit slow there; I've torn him away to work on something new. We will be doing the coin swap on GorillaEx when the time comes to merge 10k and BALLS. The ratio will be unknown until the amount of coins traded in is known; the amount issued per half has already been decided

Anyone with an open ticket on btcpool.exchange for a withdraw of either 10k or BALLS will find their balance intact, and swapped, once the new chain is live. Instead of processing tickets individually for all the withdraw issues, they will be swapped automatically to the new exchange and blockchain for you. You will be able to immediately withdraw on the new network, just like everyone sending them there manually

Also, if I am reading correctly, snowballs will be worth about 10x less than 10k coins, is that right?

I'm asking because they are both 1 sat right now so if one were debating which coin to buy, 10k would be a no brainer....do I have that right?

It will be done on GorillaEx, which has not yet been launched

As a side note, a representative from the MMXIV or GorillaStake dev team will be regularly auditing GorillaEx, as a neutral third party, to ensure customer funds are secure and that the exchange has remained solvent. The business interests of that site will be in the UK and Australia, while GorillaStake is run by my American company

Any users with a balance of 10k or BALLS on btcpool will be migrated over. If your account only has other coins in it, and your balance for 10k and BALLS are both 0, you will have to create a new account on GorillaEx; the only accounts that will be migrated over to GorillaEx are those with a balance of either 10k or BALLS

I have been AWOL for a week almost, cleaned my PC, bought some SHA-256 mining rigs, getting everything prepped.

My 10K wallet hasn't staken for that long so I would assume I would have a heck of a weight.

Please tell me the new gossip about 10K.

just wait for the new exchange to open, start an account there and move all your 10k/BALLS to the new exchange... they will do the rest

just keep an eye on the threads for the opening of the new exchange, from the sounds of it they're probably a few days away from opening the exchange

it's some pretty extreme changes... the merging of 10k and BALLS into 1 coin with a much smaller starting money supply

Haven't seen the specs on it's pos yet but I'm sure Spots has something interesting planned
