The only purpose of this "coin" is to raise funds for the AmberTrade company's new projects and offering shareholder status in return. Is this so hard to understand? There will never me merchants that accepts Amber. They could have gone to stock market but instead decided to use decentralized public offering. They are not selling "coins" they are selling shares of their company and in return they are using the money they earn on new, more profitable projects and than they share the profit with those who bought. OMG. 10 same sentences. I hope you understand. LOL.

And ofcourse as in every stock market, there is no guarantee that Amber TRADE will last for ever or increase their profits next month. If you play with the stock market you have to take the risk.
Anyway, I am sure this noob won't be able to understand what I'm trying to say but if there was anyone that didn't understand the purpose of this coin, I hope my posts would help them.

POS interest is going to be changed according to earlier announced table.

Annual POS stakes will be the following:
       1- st year:    10%
       2-nd year:      3%
       3-rd year:    0.5%
       4-th year:    0.5%
       5-th year:    0.5%
       6-th year:    0.5%
       7-th year:    0.5%

At this time we are not satisfied with a results of coin working with 10k limit.
As a plan B (if we will not be able to make all working with 10k limit) we consider a simple change POS stakes without 10k limit.
We have not done it yet because don't want to make 2 hardforks.

But anyway POS stakes will be changed.

I love plan B, it will be more robust.
In fact, it has little chance for the wallets with less than 10k Amber to mine a block.

i think you try to make post for get payment on your signature cause you even didnt read the topic.if you read the topic you could understand whats goin on this coin. Even subject is so clear its shareholder system. and price is so stable.if you want you can buy some amber and try  to dump.try with at least 50k coin otherwise even you cant dumb under 8k. u gonna see what im talking about probably u can dumb couple minutes than u gonna see all your coins will bought from shareholders. and prices going to again between 10400-9000.

I just realized something this morning....

Right now it would cost you about 10 btc to buy 100,000 Ambercoins, and for that you would get around 2.5 btc in revenue every 3 months.

That is a 100% annual return on investment. What other investment can you buy where you can get a 100% annual return??

BUT, you also get interest on your staking coins, and of course your coins keep going up in value as the dev keeps raising the price of coins that are offered AND according to the dev, each quarter's dividends should be higher than the last since this company is relatively new and is in the process of expanding.

That's the first thing.

The second thing is that as each quarter comes out with profits higher than the previous quarter (hopefully), what do you think most shareholders will do with their profits?

The obvious answer is that they will use the profits to buy more Ambercoin so they can increase their share in the company!

So that means, every time the company issues payouts to shareholders, there will probably be a massive buy of Ambercoins off the market from shareholders looking to increase their share in the company which is a win for EVERYONE including the company because they will always have buyers for their coin regardless of price! And of course the higher the payout to shareholders, the more money that will flow into the ambercoin market!

Just my thoughts. Pretty exciting stuff!!

Ok, so in order to confirm my suspicion I compared the holdings of the top 20 shareholders in Q1 to the holdings of the same 20 shareholders in Q2 and guess what....almost ALL of them increased substantially. And the amount that they increased was almost always significantly more than what can be accounted for by staking.

Well it's just the more I researched and the more I read the more I realized that right now this is one of if not THE best investment in the crypto world and it's really a shame that more people don't  know about it.

Keep in mind, our profits will not be affected by more people coming on board (i.e. .01% of profits is always .01% of profits) so really it only helps us to spread the word because more shareholders means more people buying Ambercoin means more coins  bought off the market means more capital for the company to invest and faster coin inflation and higher dividends for all of us!
