Someone please decode for those of us (me) who are too lazy to do it.
It's 'drink your ovaltine' and 'so long and thanks for all the fish'. I used the script here http://pastebin.com/GbWQgP4s

They're there, in their room. Your mining rig is on fire, yet you're very calm.

Oh no, what did we start? One word: Awesomeness Awesome mess. Some mess. Me? Mess! I concluded that the "1DkyBE" address, as interesting as it may be, has nothing to do with (the start of) the crashs on 17.07 and 17.08. The 80k and 100k transactions came well after the events. Pirate was successfully trolling with implying he more to do with them than just reacting and selling, like all of us. Could someone confirm that I didn't mess up the timezones of bitcoincharts and blockexplorer? I checked them to be the same. Oh, but NOW I found a pattern: 17.07, 17.08 I'll dump on every 16th in a month! heh Ente

I noticed it a short while ago. Well, "always" is kind of far fetched when it only happened this and last month.. ;-) Scrolling back some months I see no correlation. But back then we were in the flat 5$ mode anyway. Ente

I noticed it a short while ago. Sry I think you guys are both wrong (if I understand your claims correctly). I was there when it happened and both events (the 2 withdrawals on the 17th of July (60k BTC + 20k BTC and Pirate claiming it on IRC) were that close together, that it is impossible to prove his claims wrong. You probably messed up time zones or something.

I apologize if this has already been done, but has anyone traced the coins they sent to pirate, and did they end up in a large address like this one? If a lot of members pirate owes cooperated, there might be some interesting results to the blockchain analysis.

Pirate's funds always seem to pass through multiple mixing services...

Has been done. Right in this threada I think. The conclusion was that the big address is significantly more tainted by known transfers to pirate than statistically normal. Ente

I have a feeling payb.tc and burtW could answer some Q's about this wallet. Wonder if they will next week.

That was 4 days ago and it was noticed by Spekulatius right after they moved. I see you didn't read the thread before posting. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=94675.msg1111659#msg1111659Also, they are not sitting there. They moved 18 hrs after landing on that address, so I'll take it you also didn't open the link you posted

Those were sent to the address... someone's just screwing around. Today somebody sent 0.00001337 BTC.

Except the binary codes all came from the same address, and were close together. The leet transaction was a few days later from a different address. Likely not the same sender.
