100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020?

That is very hard to predict. You can never know what is going to happen with Bitcoin in the future and that is the problem.
Of course we all hope that the price will rise for a long time so we can get some more profit later in the future and that will be good.

Yeah, totally depends on the value of bitcoin in future, if the price is good you can surely become a millionaire and if the price drops down then you need to have more btc in your wallet to be a millionaire.

i think the best times to be a millionaire were when bitcoin was still worth below $50 per coin. nowadays it's difficult to collect enough coins to make you a millionaire at some point in the future, unless the price goes up to $10,000 and higher. but then again, you will need to buy plenty of coins at current prices.

I believe that the only way to achieve the same ROI as the initial BTC investors (those who got in @ around $5) and become a millionaire is by becoming an initial investor to another project/startup/stock/alt.

But that doesn't mean that BTC won't reach $1K or $2K at sometime - but still you'd need more than 100BTC to become a millionaire.

I guess not. If you want to be a millionaire with 100 bitcoins go to another country with lower currency value let's say the Japanese Yen. You can get a million yen (4 mil actually) but if it's USD that you want, the price has to reach $10000 each and that seems to be a far shot.

i wouldn't be surprised to see $1000 to $5000 price in 4-5 years but more than that seems impossible to me and in order to be a millionaire with 100 bitcoins you will need much more than that

Why it seems impossible for you?   Is there any reason why you think that bitcoin won't be worth more than $1k-5k?
Of course $5000 is an important value / bitcoin, but it's interesting to see what people think

Its hard to say. Because you never know what will happen and that is very good. But you can see that the value is rising slowly now.
But you dont know when it will stop rising and that is the problem. But I dont think that it is possible.

Yes you will be a millionair here in my country if the price goes to 800 each bitcoin and you have 100 btc so total is $80000 and convert it into our country money i think here in my countr 3 million in total. if you convert it into our money..

$5000 really impossible even within 4-5 years. as you know, that it is hard to go back to $1000. and this has been exceeded several years.

Collect as much you can without making a count. You might be a millionaire by 2020. Don't fix a value and go in search of it.

no it wont be that big as it would have to cost 10 thousand dollars for bitcoin and the price will surely not go that high in just a few years

i think you will need to have something like 1000 bitcoins as the price of bitcoin might come back to its all time high

$200 to $1200 is not as exciting as $10 - $200 (direct result of halving) in terms of percentage gain.

Halving is incredibly disruptive in terms of supply/demand and market dynamics. You have more and more money chasing fewer and fewer daily Bitcoin output, I think $5000 or even $10000 is not unlikely after the halving.

It will not happen, because you never know what will happen with the value in the future and that is the problem. But we all hope that it will rise.
But the bad thing is that you never know when the rise will stop or even go further and that is the problem to sell or buy it on a moment.

bitcoin ever reaches $1000, and realistic prices in 2020 will not go away from $1000. because bitcoin is difficult to go above $1000 after 2013. and 100BTC maybe if in price $1000. it can be said to be a millionaire. and all also depends live in your country. whether the costs are extremely high or low.

2020 no, but you might be millionaire in 2028 for example, first reason why, it's halving, they will rise price of bitcoin each 4 years for sure, higher price we will have before halving, higher price we will have after it, and second, bitcoin will be really popular then so that will rise price too

That is of course possible. But i dont think that will happen, because you can see already now that the price is not that stable now.
So that is not very good. I hope later that there will be more people that is going to use Bitcoin. But you cant be a millionaire later with only 100 Bitcoins.

i don't think that price in 2020 will be close to 10000$, at best case it will be 4000$ but not more, but might be even less than that,

if you want to be millionaire at that time you should buy even more bitcoins because with 100 you probably won't be for long time
