Does anyone have it install the vault on raspberry.
I can not seem to start the setup
I have the following message:

PI@raspberry:$  apt-get install CryptoBullion-qt_linux32
E: Could not open lock file /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (13: Permission denied)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), are you root ?

Thanks in advance

Geolocation changed, added Russia, Brazil and China

We need some connections in Australia and Africa. I am doing my part with Mexico and South America!

Thanks so much, Pedrillo! I run a wallet here in Western Australia, but just can't find people willing to try cryptos -- CBX would be my 'Beginners' Choice.'

Hello,
Sorry for the delay.
Well, you seem new in the Linux world, so welcome ^^ .
Let me explain something
"apt-get" or "aptitude" is the package manager, a kind of software manager, you can install package (software) from repository of the OS and you can add link to new repository to access to more "package". It's a kind of software installer, but you can ONLY install software that are on package repository of distrubution, CryptoBullion is not.
What we provide is not a installation, it's a Linux executable (same as the .exe file in Windows) so to use it you should just have to "run" it.
But, Raspberry Pi is a computer with an ARM processor, it means that it can only runs software compiling for ARM. ARM is not use in desktop/laptop computer, it's more x86, x86_64.
So both precompiled version of CBX can't work on it.
To make it work you must compile it by your own, prepare the coffee because the low CPU of RPi is not very fast to compile.
To compile it you can follow the doc:
Here is to compile daemon only: https://github.com/cryptogenicbonds/CryptoBullion-CBX/blob/master/doc/build-unix.md
Here is to compile Qt: https://github.com/cryptogenicbonds/CryptoBullion-CBX/blob/master/doc/readme-qt.md

'Expression of surprise'

Don't get too excited though... There are 'Flash Rips' going on all over the place these days. The price will drop quickly, but if it stays above say, 300k market cap for a few weeks, then that will be positive.

We will certainly find out; all I know is everything is in place for a nice, significant and sustainable price increase, and i think it will be much more than a 300k market cap (as I said, we will see)...

A bit sooner than I had anticipated: I was hoping to collect a few more CBX before the escalade but it's still nice to see this is happening Cheesy.

There is no market depth.... My own prediction is that the markep cap will swing crazily between around 300k and 2m before settling at near 300k in 4-6 weeks time. That is just a normal expectation in these cases, and actually fairly positive.

The unavoidable price dips that will follow this big move will be buying opportunities, to build a CBX holding the size you want. All I can say is, this rise in value is not over yet!

I am using Vault  v2.3.2.0 but have no connections.

Any suggestions ?

A connection to a very reliable server is hardcoded in the Vault 2.3.2

If this doesnt work, I would try putting some addnodes in; if addnodes still do not work, then perhaps I would reload the Bootstrap file.  Close the Vault.

A recent CBX Bootstrap file is here: https://mega.nz/#!0UYEDCpK!pKZCy_vA9xHPP8NlnK7nQQI4gaRGn_RlzWGQ2yI2g6c

To reload boostrap file, backup the wallet.dat file from the CryptoBullion folder in Roaming folder, then erase all the other files within the CryptoBullion folder, EXCEPT wallet.dat, then move in the decompressed Bootstrap files. Relaunch Vault; it should see connections now.

I have taken all the other steps.

I have taken all the other steps.

You can get them at https://chainz.cryptoid.info/cbx/#!network . Click in the "node list" button next to the Vault version. You can add them in your Cryptobullion.conf file, such as this example:

Code:
addnode=x.x.x.x
addnode=y.y.y.y

I hope that helps.

I am using Vault  v2.3.2.0 but have no connections.

Any suggestions ?

i found it takes a few minutes even with using addnodes added in conf file before launch, there is nearly always delay of upto 5 minutes before connections are established and wallet shows the connections..

I would suggest first, delete peers.dat only, add nodes from cryptoid into conf, start the wallet, leave wallet open for at least 30 mins, it is slower currently to connect after just starting the wallet, but once it connects it will stay connected. Smiley
