I don't know how his pool server is coded, but maybe he should block miners trying to connect with difficulty <32.
If we find a block now, I don't think anyone will get a payout, other than TX fee payouts for the block finder and the pool.
Well, whatever it was resolved relatively quickly. Oh, and BTW, there is a new kid on the block. 900+ GH/s just check in. #2 hasher from Eligius, which is down with a stratum server failure (only one server, really?) PS Mr BBAv, set your difficulty to higher than 32. You could easily set to 2048 with your ~1TH. even though they left a while ago, their PPLNS Share is stuck at 2.84468268 - has been since at least 5am EST (+10 hours ago) And still is stuck there. Everyone else gets ripped off when the next block is found. Anyone know how to contact the pool operator?

I can be reached at fireduck@gmail.com or on reddit or on the Bitcoin Forums. You can also publicly haras me on r/hhtt. He hasn't been on here since the 19th and Reddit shows last activity about 30 days ago. anyway, it seems like the last_day HR number's declining about 35k/hr; now at: 161478.045 at this rate s/b at 0 in about 4 hrs - hopefully, it'll clear out the PPLNS Shares once this occurs.

Well I know he hasn't answered past PMs from me, and apparently it's the same for others, judging from posts in this thread.
Hard to run a successful pool when you don't have your finger on it's pulse.

Everyone else gets ripped off when the next block is found. Anyone know how to contact the pool operator? This pool counts your share of each found block using a "share window" which contains current difficulty * 2 shares. When you start it takes a while before you get your full paymanet BUT when you leave you keep getting paid for a while too. Now, if a user with 1 TH/s at his disposal starts mining here he has 1/3 of the full pool hashing power and as such his share of a block should be 1/3 of 25 BTCs after a couple of days. If this user mined for several hours it will take a while before his submitted shares clear out and he stops getting paid and since when he leaved HHTT lost 1/3 of its hashing power it takes even longer. Every PPLNS pools behaves like this, the only difference can be in the size of the "share window" used by each pool. spiccioli. ps. I think that a PPS pool is a better choice as a back up pool, since you don't risk wasting you hashing in the unlucky situation where your backup pool does not find a block while you're using it and while your submitted shares still give you something back for your work.

You could also use a DGM pool as backup to be sure you get paid proper credit for your shares...

Yeah, DGM is basically a good mix of PPLNS and PPS. My current pools are DGM -> PPLNS -> DGM.

Two blocks in a few hours and a good 400 GH/s more hashing here! Welcome aboard Mr. 400 GH spiccioli Hi back. It would have been 800 GH but, instead of setting up the other half of the boxes, I went on what will probably go down in history as the most expensive date I've ever been on. (Expenses measured in opportunity cost of 24 Hours @ 400 Gigahash/Second on or about June 20th 2013) Oops.

Something wrong with the pool? Doesn't look like share counts have updated for the last 1/2 hour or so...

I want to point 2x blades to HHTT, they need local stratum proxy. When I try to run it I get such error: exceptions.valueerror: too many values to unpack stratum other pools work fine. Are there any special settings I shoud use?

I am running slush's proxy with the following startup parameters: /mining_proxy.py -o stratum.hhtt.1209k.com -p 3333 -nm
Then I point my blades to my proxy host using port 8332. Works just fine on hhtt pool.

Hi vulgartrendkill, your page says you're around 3.3 GH, how much hashing power do you have? You're also using a very low difficulty, I'd go to 16, at least to lower your fees. As far as I can tell pool is working nicely, please take note that sometimes the web pages lags behind when reporting submitted shares. spiccioli

ATM I only have a measly 3.3gh\s (10 Block Erupters). Thanks. Love the pool graphics by the way. Hilarious.
