Bitz is a global peer-to-peer digital currency that makes instant payments to anyone in the world possible.
Bitz is totally decentralised, belongs to nobody and there is no central authority and no banks involved.

We have two new nodes up and running and if you have any connection problems add to your .conf file
addnode=104.255.33.220
addnode=23.227.190.31

Last update: 30/10/2015

The Bitz devs have been verified and are trusted members of the community

BITZ: BPmU2G2Pk8n62Yi7M3H9nKAm2ekS1EcB5E
BTC: 1ERdfHP7tyVwzAfLk6C7jxLY3saYyUqJX
Strictly for promotion and development purposes.

Bitz is a fresh take on the idea of crypto-currency in today’s scam infested and crowded crypto-currency space.
Bitz is going back to basics, but with a distinct plan, road map and development philosophy for the currency.
The Bitz development philosophy focuses on real world adoption, seamless platform integration and simplicity.
We do not believe that arcane features and attempted anonymity benefits wider adoption of crypto-currencies.
We believe that the vast majority of users will want a crypto-currency that is functional, secure and easy to use.
We believe that an average user wants a crypto-currency that integrates seamlessly over a range of platforms.
Bitz will be developed to be all of this; simple, secure, useful and integrated over all common platforms.
Bitz can be compared to Bitcoin but it differs in that it is faster, more secure and will pay interest on balances held.
Bitz will also be backed by the not-for-profit, Bitz Currency Association, that will exist to support and promote Bitz.
The Bitz Currency Association will therefore ensure that the Bitz infrastructure is updated, stable and ultra secure.
Get involved with Bitz and download your wallet and start staking. Support the crypto of the future, today.

New Road Map Published Soon

I have donated 5000 BITZ to the Multifaucet

Why scrypt?

I think the thought was to get ASICs mining the coin. I know this sounds strange but I think that it will help to keep it going...

Why scrypt?

We are planning to release an X11 as well and make them co-exist. I want to try out some ideas.

How big is the biggest premine you are considering? Anything over 1% will put most people off IMO. In fact any premine at all is enough to devalue a coin. Buyers have to trust the dev not to dump the price down to nothing, I have witnessed quite a few devs who faithfully promised not to dump their premine, who immediately dumped it at the first opportunity.

There may not be, I am considering how to progress the project and at the moment I am leaning towards no pre-mine so just hang on and we'll see.

You mentioned running an X11 coin in conjunction? Is there a post up for that yet?

There is a plan of running an X11 and a scrypt coin and somehow linking them together (valuewise), this is just at the idea stage at the moment. Let's launch this X11 and see where it goes. There is a plan of setting up a business here in London and using these coins as currency. I will update as we go along.
