Higher the price of BCY is more are worth BCYs owned by EDS and more they can spend for developing game so on log term higher price of BCY is best.
Cards that are put on sale are always put at price considering value of BCY, so BCY can be x100 or fall 100 times and new cards will still get sold at normal price.

Crystals and Gemz have different options. so as BitCrystals that cant be used in game directly, yes because of appstore limitations.  There is also Gold you forgot to mention.

Apparently the only crypto they allow in the App store are BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, and XRP. I think BCY has proved itself, but Apple seems hesitant. One thing that's interesting
with the mobile game are the missing references to anything crypto-related in the theme of the game. It's been boiled down to the the basic fantasy genre.

Now it's the Time to Promote and to Increase The Tech Value of BitCrystals ( Multiplayer - Facebook Share ) and  BCY  to the MOON   Grin

What benefit would gamers and card holders have for BCY to go "to the moon"?  Aren't the cards' prices based on fiat currency?  Or is there an expectation that existing BCY holders would decide to buy more cards (lower price in BCY term) if BCY went to the moon?  But with moon price they might instead cash out into BTC, don't you think?  For me it looks like it is best for BCY price to remain stable.

Also I was wondering if there is any reason why Crystals or gems are being used in the game instead of Bitcrystals?  Is it due to app store limitation or game economics?  In other words, would it be a bad idea to use a game currency as an in-game currency?  I guess the same question could be asked to Beyond the Void.

So, the only reason why Bitcrystals can't be used in game is due to appstore limitations only, not because of game economics.  Now I got an idea to circumvent the appstore rule.  How about creating an in-game non-blockchan token and distribute according to player's ownership of bitcrystals. The player already provides a link to view his blockchain cards.  Just extend this to acknowledge the bitcrystals owned and have it represented by lets say non-blockchain "crystals".  Do you think this would work?

From what I understand, even if a game was to use BTC in-game, apple would not approve it.  Simply because they don't get a cut for purchased items.  It is actually quite a surprise that SOG is able to use blockchain cards in their game.  But using BTC or BCY to "purchase" game items within the app would not be approved.

Interesting that Book of Orbs is approved though.  But maybe because it is not a game.

That's actually a pretty good idea as a loophole. It might work for an initial target balance, but it's only one way as a high water mark on the blockchain. So if you have 100 bcy, and you "link" to some ingame balance of 100 gold, you could spend the 80 gold, but there's no way to update the blockchain in that circumstance for the player.

Yes the last roadmap on a timeline was from last year around August so not up to date.

There have been updates by the team pretty regularly up until the launch.

The video shows a roadmap with what's to come, so that is the latest available.

The most active place should be the forum: https://forum.everdreamsoft.com/

Right, no way to update the blockchain since true ownership is on the blockchain.  I guess to spend 80 gold would have to be done through BCY on Book of Orbs or any other exchange.   Not sure if the app store allows game apps to be linked with other apps, but they do allow apps to be linked to web browsers as is the case with Spells of Genesis app.  I wonder if the current project "Nova Crystalis" is dealing with this shortcoming.

Also I understand that by quad fusing a non-blockchain card and leveling up to the maximum,  it would allow you to receive a blockchainized card.  Adding a blockchainized asset does not represent the same problem as deducting a blockchainized asset as mentioned with the 80 gold example.

Now

I think this can easily be done by some speculants just to earn some BTC with pumping price... I hope it is not this and will continue to rise healthy.

the easiest way to be in touch with what is happening and is planed is to check http://spellsofgenesis.tumblr.com/   Even without that video you see from only few posts and make yourself a roadmap of what is planed for next months.
