I think what SoG is missing right now is to be more social, ie there should be more rating lists (eg PvP, Challengers), unique badges/avatars  granted for the achievements etc

totally agree, wider social adaption of the game - that's what add and increase value of the cards and bitcrystals.
We need to be more social, there should be tournaments with prizes, some media hype etc

The game can't win the whole market, but having some sort of crypto flavor it could definitely conquer the crypto audience, the project would be better off sticking with it.

Only hype on par with the current ICOs could eventually justify the prices of the blockchain cards.

I think it's rather costly to move the whole infrastructure (BoO and SoG itself) to all-new blockchains.
Afaik XCP developers are busy with making some sort of micropayments system, so why bother to go elsewhere?

I could propose a temporary measure - cooperate with ViaBTC or BTC.com (or any other mining pool ready for that) to add counterparty txs to the blocks for the smallest possible fees
Maybe co-promotion would be enough to satisfy the mining party of agreement

That's not a bad idea actually and boost people's confidence in both the game and XCP again. The only problem I see with that is there would have to be some incentive to take XCP's fees as a priority and I'm just not sure XCP DEX has the transaction volume to satisfy a mining pools requirment when it comes to prioritizing transactions. If SegwitX2 activates how will that affect XCP's DEX as far as fees go? It should lower then if I'm not mistaken or am I way off there?

First you need to download both Speels of genesis (SoG) and Book of orbs(BoO).
Then link account on SoG and BoO.
You can buy/sell see your blockchain cards there. When you get another blockchain card it will automatically show up in SoG.
Prices for cards are listed in Book of orbs.

We promised to bring you an updated game release in July and - here it is: the “Wicked Werewolf” Release will be available on your app store from Monday, July 24th! What will you find there? Book of Orbs Integration Now you can link your Book of Orbs wallet to your game account directly from the SoG mobile application! Follow our “step by step guide”. Thanks to the BoO integration, you can also change your wallet address. Just login to Book of Orbs using the “new” address and then link it again. Askian Achievement According to the total amount of stars you’ll achieved, you’ll get a random card of different rarity. Five New Campaigns We have added five new campaigns: The Bear Spirit The Archer Wild Horse Lightning Warrior Dark Creator

Bugs Fixing Several important bugs were fixed, as for example the spells being placed in holes in some levels. Magica Warrior Planning During the next sprint, our developers are going to work mainly on the following features: Seven-star Campaigns We prefered to allocate more time and resources to the bugs fixing and BoO integration during the Wicked Werewolf sprint, so we postponed the 7-star campaigns release to the Magica Warrior game update. Raid Improvements Several improvements will be made to the current Raid system. Some will be mostly visual, but we’re also going to adjust the levels difficulty and the rewards. Leaderboard Rewards Planning We are also going to start rewarding players on the top of the leaderboard, regularly, according to monthly seasons.
