Ill host a pool, but when is launch? And what algo?

The algo will be disclosed at launch (CPU only, so this secrecy helps avoid gpuminers jumping in too soon). The launch is Saturday, February 21st at 8 PM Pacific Time (US).

It's a super old handle. At one point in my life I made biodiesel (methyl alkyl esters) from waste vegetable oil sources, yes.

As the first listed producer of GreenCoin under Chris, I am super excited to see all this new life coming to this project!  Can't say I know much about carbon offsetting or the whole picture of the problems this project was started to address, but have greatly appreciated the vision and efforts from the guys behind this project.

Not sure what happened with our first developer but glad to see Chris has found us a new one that's coming at this with some heat:-)

Chris has a huge vision with this project and is committed to that vision more than any others I have seen in this crazy crypto world.  Been great getting to know you since you launched this project man!

I don't have much time outside of my consulting practice, but am here to support where I can.

I am STOKED to see the new coin specs, honestly knew some of them would have to take place at some point such as the supply.  Was hoping you guys were hard at work revamping things during the slump GreenCoin has been in the last few months so VERY exciting to see those hopes coming to life.  I was first intrigued by this whole project because of the ambition you so obviously had.......it really was your vision that I bought into and decided to take part of.  It's great to see, almost a year later, that ambition is as strong as ever:-)

What's new this coin will bring over another?

You can 'mine' this coin by running your own solar or wind farm.... ( In addition to standard mining )  the 'newness' of the coin is what it's purpose is.... carbon offsets....

In which it is renewable?

Create a pure PoS coin or use the NXT-MS, you'll save energy of mining and blockchain nodes.

"Yobit pump alert software" Link in my signature!

I have a question about POS rewards. The op says: "max reward is 3, POS starts at 100% and decreases"

My question is how often does the reward decrease?  At what rate each decrease? 1%? 10%?

Op says max block reward is 3 coins. What would be the max block size I would use in coin control to avoid going over the 3 coin reward?

Thanks
Vegas

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953
