So I can buy GRE now and exchange it to CO2X later 166.6666667 GRE to 1.00000000 ?

yes: but only until GRE hits block # 500,000 (should be ABOUT June 4th or so)

I must wait till June 4th to exchange it to CO2X or it will be faster?

I'm going to try to start tomorrow after seeing if everything is still going well, but it will be manual. I will ask Bittrex and Allcoin separately to pick up the new coin and allow for transfers between the two at the par rate. I probably cannot make my own exchange safely.

Note that the exchange is 166.66666667 GRE for 1.00000000 CO2X but it is a 1-way transaction, there is no reverse exchange.

I understand, bittrex will be great.

I'll let you know. I don't even have the foundation wallet yet. I am hopeful for this weekend, but Monday at the latest.

It is important to note that nuggetbram did not code in any premined coins. He made the Foundation award 17 coins per block instead of 3.7 for the ~ 1st year. So during this time the Foundation will payout the 3.7 daily to producers (that is, 3.7 per block accumulated to whatever block number exists 8 PM PST each day), and move 13.3 each to a central "exchange address," and we will payout claims from there. As such, we may be paying some claims in an IOU fashion: GRE must be exchanged in by block 500,000 (~JUne 4th) but the Foundation may not have all of the coins to payout until Feb 2016.

Kbroad, you are first in line ....  Wink

I noticed there was no premine coins... so you are hoping the foundation will accumulate enough to pay of GRE holders?

*Oops Gotcha* ( Just read the last entry )

yes and to take the math a little further, 13.3 exchange coins per block * 1440 min/day * 166.6 GRE per CO2X = 3,192,000 GRE per day that can be theoretically be exchanged. This assumes 1 block per minute but right now we are at block 89 and it's been 171 minutes so it may need to average out here as things get going...

When we could expect BIttrex to "list" the new GRE coin we are mining right now ?

I haven't seen this issue before, nor can I replicate it.

This mean that for whatever reason, your wallet is trying to send a block without that block including the foundation reward, but I'm not sure why that's happening or what can be done about it

Theoretically, this should only happen occasionally and will simply result in a rejected block.
