crackfoo, ^^^^^ that is cool. thanks for posting

Forgot to mention that the listaddressgroupings command is to be run on the old v1 wallet and the other/import on the v2 wallet and the commands likely only work on a linux based machine. Ahmed helped with the first one as I couldn't seem to find any accounts that actually had my balances so that magic was his.

That said.. I'm still missing nearly 4mil GRE.... :\

You definitely shouldn't be missing 4M GRE so we can try to help you find them.

I've run through the script again and seemed to get almost all of my addresses... except for 80 or so. Now only missing 1.3M

thanks for being on top of the fix Ahmed. I know we'll get through this and have a strong PoS coin folks!

One more payout on the old GRE chain is coming tonight.

The idea is really good, therefore i invested some money here. Let's hope it was not for nothing.

Status?

Will my 1/2 stake of just over 8M coins re-appear or lost for good?

Will the new wallet GUI have an interface for establishing stake / reserve limits? Given the average Joe user is not likely to know the command line interface, heck even I have to research it, it would probably be a good idea to have such a feature....

I highly doubt the foundation would keep half the block value without refunding, that would be a big red flag for other investors, but I don't speak for them.  It would seem to be a relatively trivial, albeit time consuming task to trace through with a block explorer and refund payments made incorrectly retaining the proper amount of the block reward for the foundation.  Well, its always trivial when somebody else gets to do it right?  Cheesy  I hope we get a update soon, is it possible or helpful to release a version for testing with testnet?

Ahmed is still waiting for the confirmations necessary to test his fix on his copy, and if the fix is successful, will recompile and push the new wallet out.

The 5 stakes that came into the new V2 Foundation wallet yesterday were error payments, and they are going right back to the sender.

We're hopeful for today it all gets done, but like always we just have to see how it goes and I appreciate everyone's interest and patience.

the PoS switch is already enough hard work that wallet related upgrades need to wait. But we'll make a list of them and when things get rolling a bit work on wallet upgrades (and especially fun stuff like showing how much CO2 you own, etc)

Ahmed thinks the fix is in, but is waiting overnight for a stake to prove it. Hopefully tomorrow is the day.

Fingers crossed!  Smiley

OK guys, Ahmed thinks he has a fix in but is waiting for a colleague to compile the Windows QT wallet. We'll test and report back. Hopefully close now. Thanks for your patience.

I believe i have the client fixed and a successful stake without issue Smiley

Download Link:https://www.dropbox.com/s/94bfex1or76ip19/greencoin.zip?dl=0
When running this client is is essential to start the client for the first time as follows:

Press Windows-R to open the run window.
Open the ZIP folder, downloaded from dropbox
Drag the greencoin-qt.exe icon to the run window and at the end of it type "--reindex --rescan --checkblocks=0"
Now you can run press okay and in a few minutes you should see the new client up and running.

Great job Ahmed!
Running wallet v1.2.1-49-g8380d14 from github since a few minutes. Balance is back and it seems I am staking already like a boss.
Current block on my node is # 677.

EDIT: Oh wait, I get 0 connections...
