the blockchain is totally stuck. This happens from time to time (based around whatever error is in the coin or too few stakers or whatever the problem is) and will probably continue to be an issue off and on until the fork. But hang in there.

Just noticed the chain seems blocked. I have not received funds since 12 Jul despite the foundation awarding them for generation. Chris, can you advise further to the chain status?

Its not a problem with blockchain.
These awards are manual and you will only get when Chris send.

Ahmed, I'm noticing a special behavior with the wallet app during the last few days.
The app disconnects automatically, being in the right blockchain, but stops staking.
If I restart the application it starts staking immediately.
Note: Stays in the same blockchain even if staking halts.

payouts: when traveling I don't get to them everyday. Once we are bigger I won't miss days, but I don't think 12 people are going to worry too much about it.

Ahmed and I have been discussing this issue for awhile. The hope is next week's fork fixes it for good.

Along with the fork I'm also hooking up with some web guys this weekend. A fork/web reboot will go a long way with re-engaging with the total effort.

cranky - also on payouts I'm not 100% sure where the blockchain security is at any given point so I err on the side of knowing I can get the payouts out securely and that has caused some delays as well, depending on what the block explorer is telling me.

Hope you meant the same.

That's a good news from you Chris.

Hey Guys, Update here. Still not managed to get QT Wallets built yet. Going to gather some BTC and hire someone to make me some for GRE.  Once they're ready to be built i'll give everyone an exact fork block/date. RE: The staking behaviour. That is something I've noticed which i don't have a reason for yet but i'll look into it more when i get time

We are to Plan B?

updates: GreenCoin will re-launch as a POS starting at block 800,000 which will most likely be in the daytime (US) on 1/1/2016. If the PoS testing is not successful we will fall back on a fork/update of the existing coin (PoW). I will update further as we work going forward.

Also, keep going after new solar producers please. We could use a sign-up!

Which algo is considering?
Merge mining possibility is bad, I think.
Marketing will be done prior to hardfork?

As you should have learned from the past, merge mining is detrimental to small/unknown coins. They are mined to death and dumped at any cost. Trust me, I built pools that dumped GRC daily. You all have a great thing going. I think you should go PoS and skip mining if you are trying to help emissions. Just my unsolicited 2 sats.

There is no merged mining. POS/POW Hyrbrids cannot be merged mined.

I must been away for a while. GRE was merged mined a time ago. And the post above me was asking. Missed the PoS/PoW transition Smiley

Solar Energy Producers are the majority gre holders right now.
Can we form a group for GRE Solar Energy Producers having GRE?
Not an official group but a Solar Energy Producers Group.
Advantages:
It will help GRE from dumping at exchanges.
Help in improvements of GRE.
Thus price increases.
What more you can put on.....? inviting your ideas.
