Wallet needs to be recompiled for users, not sure who will do it. Let me know if you still have issues.

Almost 10% of Coinexchanges listed coins are disabled, guess they can't afford the server rent

Unfortunately until Coinexchange.io sort out their wallet there is no opportunity for anyone to buy the coin and stake it which gives good returns. I don't know why they are so reluctant to re-enable the wallet.

Well I'm done with this I think. I can't move coins off the exchange to my wallet so I'm just going to sell and move on to something I can take out

This seems like an ill conceived cash grab. With the foundation wallet being public now, there would be no way to keep and distribute the generated coins. So you would have to reprogram the wallet software and block chain to generate coins into a new foundation wallet. This means everyone would have to upgrade their wallets to your version, which is unlikely. I know I won't do it. So you're going to have to hard fork. Well if you hard fork you're creating a new coin, so why would you bother with GRE and not just make a new coin?
If you're serious use Chris's model and just make a new coin. Perhaps CO2 coin, like Chris had tried when GREv1 was floundering.

Why isn't there a link to a compiled Windows wallet?
Because I/We are not the original developers of GRE it's hard to explain reasons or motives behind why the original developer/s made the decision to scale down the grcoin website to a homepage. Archive.org shows us that grcoin was quite an extensive CO2 offset cryptocoin website, which was quite innovative... ARCHIVE.ORG's FINAL WEBSITE IMAGE of GRCOIN in 2016: https://web.archive.org/web/20161201105230/http://www.grcoin.com/pages/helpSince December 2016 compiled GRE binary download links for Windows, Apple Wallets, etc. were removed as well as direct download links from file sharing site mega.co.nz - GRE download files are removed. Perhaps it's because they could no longer support the Greencoin project. By removing all Binaries and only making source available, they could help future GRE price by limiting the amount of users overstaking GRE supply yet by making source available the project could be revived at any time by new developers. In our testing late 2017, we were successful when compiling existing GRE v1.2.1 source code into Windows Binaries - this was/is not a problem to produce. However, the decision to publicly release the private key of the GRE foundation wallet is a perplexing action and state previous developers have left GRE in - which in ideally needs to be resolved in order for GRE to provide an attractive proposition again to returning business and investors.

Thanks for the info. Good staking coins with moderately high percentage rates are doing very well right now.

The coin has no future. These idiots in the forum taIking about resurrecting it, clearly have no clue how blockchain works. To make any changes to the coin would require everyone upgrade their wallet on to a new blockchain (a fork). Why would anyone do that? The current coin is POS, is listed on an exchange and has billions in circulation. The best someone could do is use Chris's model and make an entirely new coin. That being said it is a POS shitcoin on an exchange with active trading. So it will always be good for short term investing or day trading. I encourage people to invest in and trade the coin but don't listen to these idiots talking about revamping it.
