Translation of Amhash Explanation on Weibo website

Source: http://weibo.com/p/1001603816360214946715

I have translated this in the best way possible, so that it is more understandable.

Title: Too many people have asked, so here is a general response.

AMHash is a joint project between AsicMiner and RockMiner. Rockminer is the seller for AMHash, so we are responsible to sell the hashrate, and develop the platform, collect the earnings and send out dividends, and resolve customer queries. This is because Rockminer no longer had any ASICS, and and we could only provide technical support and provide reselling services. Coincidentally, friedcat wanted to sell the hashrate, and so we cooperated and we started this project, AMHash. About the current situation of AMHash, the best way to resolve this would be to wait for friedcat to appear and resolve this. Trying to recuperate funds via law enforcement will be of little to no use, since if we could have done anything, we would've. Now, the key is to find friedcat and have him put up the dividends, and any unrealistic/extreme acts will serve no purpose.

We didn't announce that there were problems in the datacentres for a reason. We were still negotiating with the datacentres/mines, and ASICS being mass produced (< not very sure about this part). Friedcat said that there would be more hashrate deployed in Inner Mongolia and in Hening (和宁), so 3.x Petahashes would be deployed and could fix the current problems. This meant that, friedcat said, there would be no problems as the earnings could be covered and the dividends paid out, and releasing the news would just cause unnecessary panic.

Many people were panicking, asking if AsicMiner had run for it, and asking if the mining farms/datacentres had been shut down. How are we going to run for it? AMHash is not a lot of money to AsicMiner, and after our calculations, we only earn around 2500BTC. Who would run for this? If we wanted to run for it, we would've done so a lot earlier, and we wouldn't wait until now. Would we abandon our families? friedcat's family also reported this to the police, but we still can't find him. What we are worried about is his safety.

AsicMiner stopped some test mining farms/datacentres, since they were too costly to continue operating, and so, it is natural to shut them down.

The key point is, what happened to friedcat, even I don't know. My guess would be 60% personal issues, 40% work problems. We would only know when he comes back.

I am still talking to people from AsicMiner, including overseas shareholders. We are looking for a solution, please wait patiently.

Note: Some translations may be incorrect, such as we/I/they, since I did this in a rush and my Chinese isn't perfect, especially if I am reading Simplified Chinese.

I don't know how anyone can believe the AMHASH fairy tale when they have changed the story (lied) 3 times now:

1.- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=833704.msg10392962#msg10392962

2.- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=833704.msg10610885#msg10610885

3.- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=833704.msg10631414#msg10631414

And they are so cynical that want us to sit and wait for the infamous friedcat for him to appear in its own free will, not even that they are searching for him.

This is an insult, fight back here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=974893.0

I think you should give them some more time, they seem they're doing their best to fix the issues.
Though there's no harm in gathering information.
Count me in if things go astray.

JOIN THE HUNT
Your post and your hunt is just stupid. You could have 10 billions of your precious little dollars in AMHash, that will never give you the right to hunt anyone, nor his friends or familly. You are too arrogant and stupid, and I hope your post will be removed. That kind of thing has nothing to do there.

Well it is hard to say what is best for Havelock to do here, if they keep tracing closed just for AM hash those who want to dump won't have the opportunity, however the moral thing to do is not allow new buys so no one new loses money. My thoughts are leave it to market forces but also put a warning on the trade page about a possible issue.

I am awaiting the trading to reopen but I only have B Mine which unless proven otherwise seems safe.

I think they should keep the engine closed for like another week.
While they deliver the dividends, allow deposits and withdrawals.
Until things clear up.

Things are already clear.
Are problems with AMHASH shares so can stop activity for AMHASH or even let open AMHASH too.
But we are others like mine i only have BDD shares so i need to operate and make my withdraws.
They said will start operations today so let them keep their word.
Who want to trade AMHASH shares must have permision to do it because is their choice.

Well havelock did say they would be back March 2nd which they were except the site is useless without any trades happening. They need to rectify this situation fast or they will lose a lot of loyal customers regardless of am hash situation

I understand that trading of amhash1 shares might be frozen until dividends and farm is in place... but ability to withdraw funds from your wallet at havelock should not be blocked. Full stop

One has to wonder if its just coincidence havelock shut down for what, 10 days, for 'maintenance' right when the AM/AMhash fiasco was unfolding.

Assuming its not, here is a Pro tip: next time there is a such a big news event, suspend trading of the affected securities, clear all orders, make the news public, give investors some time to digest the info, then resume trading of the affected securities. The same should even apply  to events like posting financial results (although in the case of AM, lately thats become so rare its a 'major' event I guess). Uninterrupted trading makes it so unfair to anyone without early access to the info, in many cases just understanding Chinese gives you a huge leg up. And lets not mention board members...

In my opinion transactions must be started today including for AMHASH1 fund too.
If i was in AMHASH board after i found out i loose that PH was the best way for me to buy shares of AMHASH1 from Havelock even from first day with their funds and i supose they have some funds.
If they do like that from first day situation become better and better every day and they dont come in today situation to pay dividends from their pocket for nothing and even if cant buy all until now situation was more better for many customers.
So in my opinion tradings for AMHASH1 can also be opened today and who want can sell and also who want can buy including AMHASH1 board himself and in this situation many shareholders can get out without problems from that situation even will have some losses.
This is just my opinion.

Well, there's no point for AMHASH and havelock to froze trading. AMHASH already sold shares and get BTC, they give a shit about share price now...
Havelock can't get fees when trading is frozen so it's also against their interests.
