Yet it is dangerous for the issuer, as they need to have enough available to cover payments at all time. As much as I'd like to point that it's quite scary to do so, I have to applaud the brashness/boldness of the move. |

TAT isn't contractually obliged to pay out divs before they've been confirmed, he's only contractually obliged to pay them within 48 hours of receiving them. If he didn't have enough BTC to cover his divs, he'd just wait until he received the divs from Friedcat. |

Maybe burnside is on vacation. Or maybe have a read back through the thread a page or three and find out that one of the inputs used in the dividend transaction hasn't been confirmed so the "funds haven't cleared", so to speak. |
