And 2.5 Wall is 100% Done

Jutarul
Final Update

0 shares available.
2000 shares paid.

Thank you all for participating in this successful transfer of equity. I hope that AM shares will be a good match for your portfolio.
Jutarul is long sighted eh.. He knows they aren't worth that much

Ignorant statement.

Jutarul started that auction when the price was right around BTC2.5, and like any good businessperson, he sticks to the terms he agrees to. He bought (at least most of, likely all) his shares at the IPO (BTC0.1/share), and has said publicly that he set for himself how many shares he would sell when they hit certain price points, and/or at certain stages of ASICMINER's development.

He has done similar auctions at various price points, dating back to (at least) around the time ASICMINER first announced the successful testing of their chips, in mid-January, when shares really began changing hands again OTC. Some of us lucky (or smart) duckies picked up shares then for BTC0.5, and Jutarul recouped (I believe) more than his initial investment, while only unloading a small part of his holdings.

Jutarul has been a supporter of ASICMINER since the beginning, and as far as I know he remains one. I would be surprised if he wasn't still a board member, or even more involved than that. I am speculating in this paragraph based on my very limited knowledge of and contact with him, but I would wager that he still has shares ready to sell at other price points... like say BTC5 in the fall when the next gen chips are rolled out. That will likely be around the time ASICMINERs competitors finally start delivering their first gen products en mass.  Wink

I probably should just let this uninformed nonsense stand, since I am still buying more ASICMINER right now, but all this useless speculation to try to drive the passthrough prices down a few ticks is getting old.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out what good could come from these statements. Best to keep your holdings private or at least discreet IMO. Reminds me of my Dad's buddy from medical school who is always boasting about his safe full of gold and guns when he gets drunk.

I'm sure you know how to protect yourself freedomno1, but it sets a poor example for the naive who may not realize the scammers which lurk on this board.

To fellow recent arrivals to the bitcoin scene, I suggest this approach:
Trust me, I'm poor, nothing to see here, move along  Wink

My mistake. I'm pretty sure these elitist clubs are just mechanisms to ensnare wealthy novices into being loose with their BTC.

"Trust me <wealthy novice>, I'm in the Vladimir Club, who better to help you set up a cold wallet then me?"

oops shared much?

LOL, I know the structure isn't right, but I'm sure there's a haiku in there somewhere.

Paid for by those 75BTC batch 3 Avalon orders. I think $/BTC was over 175 then...

I noticed all you do here is spread fud and talk shit about Asicminer.
I'm just wondering why exactly.
What's in it for you by doing that?

why, cause I don't post only positive stuff about AM?

I have not posted anything that was untrue.  The hash rate drop was real.  The dividend decrease was real. The share correction was real. I did not ignore these things, and I have only sought to discuss these issues.  I have a lot invested here, so finding out the details of these issues helps me to determine the security of my investment.

I have been a shareholder for a very long time, and all I have ever done is buy and hold shares.  I believe in the future of AM, but, I'm not going to ignore major issues, like dividends dropping 50% in a week, or hash rate dropping 50% in a day.  If you don't like my points, you are free to ignore them.

If you go through my history, I have also defended AM where it is warranted.

Remember our origins are decentralized

Well said - this forum is where we discuss relevant information regarding this very opaque (albeit successful) company. Obviously we all support the company, but as part owners we need to discuss the good and the bad.

With that said, increased hashrate seems to be more thoroughly validated as time goes on. My money is on a rolling power outage, looks to be that way?

IF all checks, and it seems to be pointing that way, Avalon is going to ship batch 2 & 3 without delay between - that's 600 + 600 units entering the market in the not too distant future.
1200 units at 60GH each = 72TH increase in the "soon" future (My take is 45 days.)
Not counting chips.
With 100TH and others joining the fray, get ready for a bumpy ride.

yeah, I think that might be the issue, which is something beyond Friedcat's control (unfortunately).  I guess all we can do is hope for cooler weather in China.

Is this fully operational in China yet?
