My mistake. I'm pretty sure these elitist clubs are just mechanisms to ensnare wealthy novices into being loose with their BTC. "Trust me <wealthy novice>, I'm in the Vladimir Club, who better to help you set up a cold wallet then me?"

Paid for by those 75 BTC batch 3 Avalon orders. I think $/ BTC was over 175 then...

I noticed all you do here is spread fud and talk shit about Asicminer. I'm just wondering why exactly. What's in it for you by doing that?
why, cause I don't post only positive stuff about AM? I have not posted anything that was untrue. The hash rate drop was real. The dividend decrease was real. The share correction was real. I did not ignore these things, and I have only sought to discuss these issues. I have a lot invested here, so finding out the details of these issues helps me to determine the security of my investment. I have been a shareholder for a very long time, and all I have ever done is buy and hold shares. I believe in the future of AM, but, I'm not going to ignore major issues, like dividends dropping 50% in a week, or hash rate dropping 50% in a day. If you don't like my points, you are free to ignore them. If you go through my history, I have also defended AM where it is warranted.

Well said - this forum is where we discuss relevant information regarding this very opaque (albeit successful) company. Obviously we all support the company, but as part owners we need to discuss the good and the bad.

With that said, increased hashrate seems to be more thoroughly validated as time goes on. My money is on a rolling power outage, looks to be that way?

IF all checks, and it seems to be pointing that way, Avalon is going to ship batch 2 & 3 without delay between - that's 600 + 600 units entering the market in the not too distant future. 1200 units at 60GH each = 72TH increase in the "soon" future (My take is 45 days.) Not counting chips. With 100TH and others joining the fray, get ready for a bumpy ride.

yeah, I think that might be the issue, which is something beyond Friedcat's control (unfortunately). I guess all we can do is hope for cooler weather in China.

No matter how they changed, things did by Avalon now is long -time before did by Friedcat FC has most of his devices are not currently in works I guessed may be some issues there.

This is my first week with shares. I guess i'm overlooking something but shouldn't my dividend show up under "My Dividends" on btct.co? It still shows as 0. Am i supposed to do something?
Burnside hasn't released it yet TAT's already did You can check in the history tab Really? I don't see mine... and yes, I'll take this over to the TAT thread. But posting here in case there might be others.

My money is on a rolling power outage What's a "rolling" power outage? Intentional, happens more in areas with shoddy power grids, for example parts of China.. From Wikipedia: A rolling blackout, also referred to as load shedding, is an intentionally engineered electrical power shutdown where electricity delivery is stopped for non-overlapping periods of time over different parts of the distribution region. Rolling blackouts are a last-resort measure used by an electric utility company to avoid a total blackout of the power system. They are a type of demand response for a situation where the demand for electricity exceeds the power supply capability of the network. Rolling blackouts may be localized to a specific part of the electricity network or may be more widespread and affect entire countries and continents. Rolling blackouts generally result from two causes: insufficient generation capacity or inadequate transmission infrastructure to deliver sufficient power to the area where it is needed."

My money is on a rolling power outage What's a "rolling" power outage? A lack of supply and a high demand for power - state set the price and infrastructure the result is a low incentive to meet demand. Solution everyone has their power cut for 2 hours during the day (district by district) hence the power outage is plan and rolls around so everyone suffers from the planned economy equally.

Hot weather is a good point for decrease of the whole network
Yes! Because the entire world lies above the equator. Well, most of the people with electricity, the internet and the purchasing power to buy mining hardware certainly do.
