i hold shares on bitfunder and normally get them on friday, nice to see every week same ol story - where my divs@
At what point in time one has to have BitFunder Pass Through shares to get divs? Is it when dividends are paid from AM or when dividents are paid inside of BitFunder? The latter

I don't think it's sensible to reduce prices now if people are paying 50 BTC per Blade. Wait until demand has dried out at that price and adjust prices quickly and aggressively.
You assume that lowering the price will result in the same amount of sales. In reality lowering price usually increases sales as demand and supply match again after changes. Selling 200 blades at 30BTC is more than 100 blades at 50BTC. Another point here is better ROI for buyers, as they are more likely to buy more hardware in the future if they manage to make some BTC. At current prices it's very likely some buyers may not get back their investment which will be disappointing for them and will kill the desire to buy more hardware in the future. Lowering price in steps dynamically can increase total revenues as opposed to waiting for demand to "dry out". In case of waiting for it to dry out total revenues may plunge to a point where only a handful of blades are sold per week. Taking into account that producing hardware costs very little, lowering price dynamically in steps according to competition and price trends results in better total revenues. I'm not saying when and what should be done, I believe they at AM know what to do, this is just a comment for thread readers who speculate AM strategies. I agree with this. I corrected myself in a subsequent post. ASICMiner should definitely try to maximize profits from hardware sales by executing auctions at regular intervals, to gauge the market price. But this also depends on how many Blades they can actually manufacture. In any case, I have faith in friedcat and his team, and that they are aware of this.

I guess I shouldn't have sold my AM shares to buy BFL pre-orders... Oops. /strikes again! I know it! no, I could never sell my shares, I take every opportunity to buy more AM shares. It was a joke about what someone was saying earlier today that we should sell shares cause BFL is shipping orders to people who have been waiting for a year. I like making money, therefore I own AM shares.

This is crazy! .5 BTC per each 35 BTC invested today. The dividend is extreme in this fund. Thats 2 BTC per month it this hold, thats...CRAZY. This is the Rio Tinto of Bitcoin for sure.

<helo> funny that this proposal grows the maximum block size to 8GB, and is seen as a compromise <helo> oh, you don't like a 20x increase? well how about 8192x increase? <JackH> lmao

Given that a ratio share price vs yearly dividend of 3 : 1 is considered a bargain in FIAT stock markets, AM is worth between 10 and 15 BTC per share. It is not about freaking high dividends, but ridiculously low share price. I would buy plenty more if I could. Before the big boys get on the waggon.

Dividend me up I think most people would not buy back at twice the price they sold, what's your thought process on buying back? I sold 10% of my original holding at 0.9, another 20% at 1.75, and have 70% left, plan to sell another 20% if price reach 3.25, otherwise I will just hold for divs. Bought everything when the PT started, at 0.65
